The Minish Cap: Equipment Upgrades
There are several equipment upgrades in The Minish Cap. This guide will tell you how to get them and what they can do!
Bomb Bags
Bomb Bag 1: See Fairy Fountains
Bomb Bag 2: After you have bought the boomerang, buy the bomb bag at Stockwell's in Hyrule Town for 600 rupees.
Bomb Bag 3: Fuse kinstones with Belari in the Minish Woods and open the chest that appears.
Four Sword
After infusing your blade with the last element, your sword will be transformed to the legendary Four Swords! This sword will allow Link to split into four.
Light Arrow
When you have the Gust Jar and the Bow & Arrow, fuse kinstones with the man in a house in Hyrule Town which is located south the Post Office. A portal will appear near your house. Step into this portal and you'll be warped to a big house. Go to the second floor, where you'll see a sick man. A ghost is hunting him, so use your Gust Jar to suck in this ghost. Since you healed him, he'll give you the Light Arrow!
Magical Boomerang
After you complete the Tingle sidequest, four trees in North Hyrule will open up. Head into each one of them and step on the switch, and a ladder will be created in the middle of the four trees. Head down the ladder and open the big chest here to get the Magical Boomerang! The Magical Boomerang can travel full screen, and if you hold down the button it is on, (A or B) you can change the direction by using the D-pad.
Mirror Shield
After completing the Goron Quest, fuse kinstones with the goron to the far right in the Goron Cave, and a huge goron will appear on the top of Veil Falls. After you have beaten the game, have your shield out and talk to the Big Goron. He will ask if he can have it, so give it to him and he will start chewing on it. Walk around in Hyrule for a while, and return to the Big Goron. He will spit out your shield, but it has turned into a Mirror Shield!
Remote Bombs
Fuse kinstones with the Minish Elder. Then go to the minish that gave you a bomb bag and bombs. Talk to him and you can change between regular bombs and remote bombs. When you have planted them, you can remote detonate them by pressing the same button, and they will explode! But you can only use one remote bomb at a time.
Wallet Upgrades
Wallet 1: Buy this at Stockwell's in Hyrule Town for 80 rupees.
Wallet 2: Fuse kinstones with Mayor Hagen in Hyrule Town and open the chest that appears.
Wallet 3: See Fairy Fountains
White Sword
Melari will forge your Broken Picori Blade while you are in the Cave of Flames. After you have beaten the boss in the Cave of Flames, talk to Melari and he will give you the White Sword.
White Sword (Two Elements)
After you have completed the Cave of Flames and got your White Sword, head over to the Elemental Sanctuary. Place your sword in the pedestal there and your White Sword will be infused with the power of the two elements, allowing Link to split into two.
White Sword (Three Elements)
After you have completed the Temple of Droplets, once again head over to the Elemental Sanctuary. Place your sword in the pedestal there and your White Sword will be infused with the power of the Water Element, allowing link to split into three.
Quiver Upgrades
Quiver 1: When you have defeated the Fortress of Winds, go to Stockwell's in Hyrule Town and buy the quiver for 600 rupees.
Quiver 2: See Fairy Fountains
Quiver 3: Fuse kinstones with a minish near the entrance to the Wind Ruins, and open the chest that appears.
