The Minish Cap: Items

Swords

Smith's Sword: Given to you when evil has been unleashed by Vaati. The first sword you recieve in the game.

White Sword: Sacred sword that can be upgraded as you gain new elements.

Four Sword: Final form of the sword. Lets you create three clones so you can walk around with four friends. Allows you to rid of people's curses.

Shields

Small Shield: As you may have guessed by the name: this shield, is, in fact, small. The first shield you recieve in the game. Pricess Zelda gives it to you in the beginning of the game when she wins it at the Picori festival.

Misc

Bomb: Set it down, or throw it -- it blows up. Keep a safe distance away when using these things.

Boomerang: Throw it, it comes back to you! This can be used to inflict damage on enemies or retrieve items from afar. This can be purchased in Stockwell's shop for 300 rupees (so you'll need a bigger wallet, which you can also purchase from him).

Bottles: Fill them up with potion or catch a fairy in them.

Bow: Shoot enemies from afar with this typical Zelda weapon. Needed for certain puzzles.

Cane of Pacci: Use this item to flip things over, such as the big pots in Hyrule town. Needed to defeat certain enemies aswell, such as the Spiked Beatle and some bosses.

Flame Lantern: Allows you to see in the dark and light torches throughoput the game. Can be used against some enemies, such as Gibdos and Ice Wizzrobes.

Gust Jar: Item that allows you to suck in things and blow them out, such as sand. Other items, such as jars, aren't drawn in, but just stay in front of link as long as you use the jar and then throws the jar after you release.

Mole Mitts: Dig through the sand to find hidden entrances throughout Hyrule.

Ocarina of Wind: Get to the places you want to faster (by air). After you have unlocked the places by reading the stone obelisks, the stone appears on the map for you to soar to.

Pegasus Boots: Dash around with these kicks. Run into things such as (certain) trees and (certain) closets to reveal hidden items.

Roc's Cape: Allows you to jump. Useful when you need to get to the other side of holes.
