On Controller #1, pause the game. Then, on Controller 2, press Up and A then a screen with the options ''Continue, Save, Retry'' will show up.

Refill Red Water of Life
If you bought a red-colored Water of Life, when you use it once, it turns blue, meaning you can only use it once more before it disappears. To refill it from blue to red without buying a second Red Water of Life from the Old Woman, buy a Blue Water of Life. Doing so will make it red again.

Second Quest
To start your game in the second quest, enter your name as "ZELDA", and the image of Link beside the name will now hold a sword, indicated that you now have access to the second quest.

Extra Key
Right after you enter the first dunguen, exit, and you will notice that the northern door is unlocked without reason, this will give you an extra key in case you get stuck anywhere else.
