Nintendo has officially announced that pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 have commenced. The console is set to launch on June 5, 2025, with a starting price of $449.99.

Nintendo is offering a priority pre-order opportunity through the My Nintendo Store for dedicated fans. To be eligible:
- Nintendo Switch Online Membership: Must have an active 12-month paid membership as of April 2, 2025.
- Gameplay Hours: A minimum of 50 total gameplay hours logged by April 2, 2025.
- Registration: Sign in with your Nintendo Account and register your interest in purchasing the Nintendo Switch 2 system and select accessories from the official My Nintendo Store.
Invitations will be prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis to registrants meeting the above criteria. Once priority invitations have been sent, remaining eligible registrants will be considered. Each invitation is valid for 72 hours.
