Labrynna Maps

Map layersMost regions exist in both eras. The past is about 400 years earlier than the present, and some places look different in each one
Dungeon entrances8 numbered dungeons, the Maku Path, the Black Tower, and two Linked Game only places (Hero’s Cave and Room of Rites)
TravelThe Tune of Echoes opens time portals. The Tune of Currents and the Tune of Ages move you between eras without one
PortalsAt least 13 portal spots. No official count exists

Labrynna is split into a past and a present, and most of the map exists in both. The regions below list where each one lies in each era, so you know which half of the map a place belongs to before you start looking for it. For the full path through the map, use the walkthrough chapters.

Travel between the eras

The Harp of Ages does all the travel work. Play the Tune of Echoes beside a dormant time portal to open it. The Tune of Currents lets you cross between the eras from many places without a portal, and the Tune of Ages takes you back after you rescue Nayru. Time travel does not work in Yoll Graveyard, on the Sea of No Return, on the grounds of the Black Tower, or inside any dungeon.

A full list of portals, with the place you open each one and any one-way warp spots, is in Time Portal Locations. The three tunes are explained in Harp of Ages and Time Travel.
