How to Obtain: After retrieving the Earth and Fire Elements, visit Melari the Minish Smith on Mt. Crenel to have the Broken Picori Blade reforged into the White Sword.

White Sword (Two Elements)
Enhancement: Allows Link to charge his sword and create one duplicate of himself on specific glowing floor tiles, necessary for puzzles requiring multiple switches.
How to Obtain: After acquiring the Earth and Fire Elements and reforging the White Sword, visit the Elemental Sanctuary in Hyrule Castle to infuse the blade with their power.

White Sword (Three Elements)
Enhancement: Allows Link to charge his sword and create up to two duplicates on specific glowing floor tiles, arranged in a triangle pattern.
How to Obtain: After obtaining the Water Element from the Temple of Droplets, return to the Elemental Sanctuary to infuse the White Sword further.

Four Sword
Enhancement: The blade’s ultimate form, allowing Link to charge his sword and create up to three duplicates on specific glowing floor tiles, arranged in a square pattern. Required for the final puzzles and battles.
How to Obtain: After collecting all four Elements (Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind), visit the Elemental Sanctuary one final time to transform the White Sword into the legendary Four Sword.

Mirror Shield
Enhancement: The ultimate shield upgrade. Reflects magical projectiles and beams, essential for defeating certain enemies and the final boss.
How to Obtain: Fuse Kinstones with all five Gorons scattered across Hyrule (one in Lon Lon Ranch, one in Trilby Highlands, three in Goron Cave). This summons Biggoron atop Veil Falls. After defeating Vaati, speak to Biggoron while having the standard Small Shield equipped. Agree to let him eat it, wait some time (leave the screen and return), and he will reward you with the Mirror Shield.
Bomb Bag Upgrades

Bomb Bag Upgrade 1
Capacity: Holds up to 30 bombs.
How to Obtain: Find the Great Fairy Fountain located on Mt. Crenel (enter a cave behind a breakable wall near the climbable cliff face). Toss a Bomb into the fountain. When prompted by the Great Mayfly Fairy, answer honestly (“Neither”) to receive the upgrade.

Bomb Bag Upgrade 2
Capacity: Holds up to 50 bombs.
How to Obtain: Fuse Kinstones with Elder Gentari in the Minish Village. This fusion reveals a chest near Link’s house containing the upgrade.

Bomb Bag Upgrade 3

Wallet Upgrade 1
Capacity: Holds up to 300 Rupees.
How to Obtain: Purchase from Stockwell’s Shop in Hyrule Town for 80 Rupees. Available early in the game.

Wallet Upgrade 2
Capacity: Holds up to 500 Rupees.
How to Obtain: After obtaining the Cane of Pacci, go to Eastern Hills. Use the Cane on a hole in the ground near a small tree to flip it over and access the tree’s interior. Inside, the Great Mayfly Fairy will offer the upgrade, but she will take *all* Rupees Link is currently carrying as payment. It’s best to do this when Link has very few Rupees.

Wallet Upgrade 3
Capacity: Holds up to 999 Rupees.
How to Obtain: This upgrade requires completing the Lon Lon Ranch key sidequest for Malon and fusing Kinstones:
- Find the Lon Lon Ranch key (usually involving shrinking and exploring the ranch house).
- Return the key to Malon.
- Fuse Kinstones with Malon after returning the key.
- This fusion reveals a chest in the nearby meadow containing the final wallet upgrade.
Boomerang Upgrades

Magical Boomerang
Enhancement: Allows manual control over the boomerang’s flight path using the directional pad after throwing. Travels faster and further than the standard boomerang.
How to Obtain: This upgrade involves fusing Kinstones with all four Tingle brothers (Tingle, Ankle, Knuckle, and David Jr.).
- Fuse Kinstones successfully with Tingle (Lake Hylia), Ankle (Lon Lon Ranch), Knuckle (Trilby Highlands), and David Jr. (optional, but usually near Lake Hylia).
- Each successful fusion opens one of the four sealed trees in North Hyrule Field.
- Enter each opened tree and step on the switch inside.
- Once all four switches are pressed, a central ladder appears in North Hyrule Field.
- Descend the ladder to find a chest containing the Magical Boomerang.
Bomb Upgrades

Remote Bombs
Enhancement: Allows Link to detonate placed bombs manually by pressing the item button again, offering precise timing for puzzles and combat.
Prerequisites: Obtain standard Bombs; gain access to the Minish Village.
How to Obtain: Locate Elder Gentari in the Minish Village and successfully fuse Kinstones with him. This fusion inspires the Minish inventor Belari (found in his house just outside the village) to complete his work. Visit Belari after the fusion, and he will offer to swap Link’s standard Bombs for the upgraded Remote Bombs.
