Big Green ChuChu
Difficulty: 1 out of 10
Items Needed: Smith’s Sword, Gust Jar
He will start by going towards you. Just remember to have your sword on B and your Gust Jar on A. First you should run away from him a little, then use your Gust Jar to suck in his lower body. Eventually, his lower body will be too small for him, and he will fall over. Try not to get hit by him when he collapses. Now that he’s down, slash him with your sword as many times as possible. After some time he will jump instead of walking. Watch out so you don’t get smashed. Repeat this process several times, and you’ll have the boss beaten in no time. Take the heart container and collect the Earth Element.
Gleerok
Difficulty: 3 out of 10
Items Needed: Smith’s Sword, Cane of Pacci
Equip your sword on B and your Cane of Pacci on A. Run away from him and use the Cane of Pacci to flip the spiked shell onto him. It won’t work if his head is blocking the shell. Then run on his neck to get on his back and slash the yellow object as many times as possible. When his back starts shaking, then it’s time to get off. Then he’ll sink into the lava, and boulders will fall down from the roof. Avoid them so you won’t get hurt. When his shell is red, it means that you can’t flip his shell yet. He will also spit out flames. After some time, the lava will expand. Stand right next to a wall and just wait. Repeat this process several times, and you’ll have the boss defeated in no time. Take the heart container and collect the Fire Element.
Mazaal
Difficulty: 4 out of 10
Items Needed: White Sword, Bow & Arrow, Mole Mitts
This boss is mainly a head and two hands. Start by shooting an arrow on the pink object on his hands, then slash it. Watch out for the other hand when you do so. When both hands are town, shrink into Minish size and go into the head, and find a pillar with a blue eye and slash it a several times. The next times you’ll have to dig with the Mole Mitts to find this pillar. Repeat this process several times, and the boss will be defeated. Take the heart container and collect the Ocarina of Wind.
Giant Octorok
Difficulty: 6 out of 10
Items Needed: White Sword, Flame Lantern
This boss is one of the harder ones. He’ll shoot giant rocks on you, so reflect them by hitting them with your sword. Make sure that they will hit the boss. Then the entire floor will turn into ice. Almost the whole boss will also turn into ice. Use your Flame Lantern to burn the flower-like object on his back, and everything will be unfreezed. Eventually he’ll spit ink or try to suck you in. To see in the dark, use your flame lantern. Repeat this process several time, and the boss will be defeated. Take the heart container and collect the Water Element.
Gyorg
Difficulty: 7 out of 10
Items Needed: White Sword, Roc’s Cape
This boss is kind of hard. Do you see the eight eyeballs? Those are his weak points. You will see three of them at once. As you might already guessed, clone Link into the same formation as the eyes are, then just slash them with your sword. He will change eye forms after some time, and you’ll have to clone Link again. After that you’ll have to jump over to the small Gyorg using the Roc’s Cape. The small Gyorg will only show one eye. Jump to dodge the spinning tail, and slash the eye that is open. After some time you’ll see the big Gyorg again. Jump onto it and do the same process as before. When you have defeated the boss, collect the Wind Element and take the Heart Container.
Vaati Reborn
Difficulty: 4 out of 10
Items Needed: Four Sword, Gust Jar
This is Vaati’s first form, and he’s not hard to defeat. Slash the small flying eyes, then slash the big eye on Vaati’s body. After some time the small eyes will be shielded in black objects. Just use the Gust Jar on them, and the eyes will turn back to normal. Slash the small eyes, then slash the big eye on Vaati’s body several times. After some time he’ll start teleporting around in the room. Remember to dodge the fire Vaati throws at you, and the small eyes will also shoot lasers straight down. Repeat this process several time, and the first form of Vaati will be defeated.
Vaati Transfigured
Difficulty: 6 out of 10
Items Needed: Four Sword, Bow & Arrow (or Light Arrow)
This is Vaati’s second form, and it’s a little harder to defeat. Don’t let him touch you, because it will hurt you. He will also send some energy balls at you, so avoid these, and watch out for the purple, spiky blocks. Do you see the eight orbs around Vaati? Shoot arrows at them, and they change into either a red eye-like orb, or just a ordinary blue orb. When four red eye-like orbs is revealed, clone Link into the same formation as the red eyes and slash them once to bring down Vaati, then slash him as many times as possible. Repeat this process several times, and the second form of Vaati will be defeated.
Vaati’s Wrath
Difficulty: 9 out of 10
Items Needed: Four Sword, Cane of Pacci, Flame Lantern
Now for the third and last form of Vaati, Vaati’s Wrath. Equip your sword and Cane of Pacci. When he sticks his arm into the ground, wait for it to come back up somewhere else, and then use your Cane of Pacci to flip the arm. Then shrink down to Minish size and enter the arm. There is a lot of eye-like monsters there, but you have to find the one with the bright orange/red pupil, then slash it several times to destroy the arm. Exit the arm and turn into normal size again. Do the same process to destroy the other arm. But this time, when you enter the arm, it’ll be pitch dark, so you’ll have to light up the area using the Flame Lantern. When the arm is destroyed, return to normal size again. Now, Vaati will have four small eyes open in front of him. Clone Link into four and wait right under his eyeballs, because they will shoot beams at you, and you have to strike them back at him. Now is your chance to slash him with your sword as many times as possible. But sometimes they’ll shoot energy balls, so be careful. Repeat this process to defeat Vaati’s Wrath.
