The Goron quest is a chain of Kinstone fusions that brings six Gorons to a cave above Lon Lon Ranch. Fuse a blue piece with Eenie in the Eastern Hills to open the cave, then with five Mysterious Walls, each at the end of a Mole Mitts tunnel. When the sixth Goron arrives the group breaks through a wall, which gives you 200 rupees and the fourth Empty Bottle. After the story you can fuse once more to wake Biggoron, who trades your Small Shield for a Mirror Shield.

Eenie is Goron 1 and each of the five walls adds one more, so the cave holds six Gorons at the end.
Starting the quest: the Goron and Eenie
Goron at Lon Lon Ranch
Return to Lon Lon Ranch and walk to the boulders at the south edge. A Goron explains that the rock will not break and that he needs more friends. Fuse a blue piece with him. A cutscene shows a Goron merchant setting up a stall outside Hyrule Town, who later sells Kinstone pieces: green for 50 rupees, blue for 200 and red for 300.
Eenie, Eastern Hills
One field over, Eenie digs with a pick. Fuse a blue piece with him, wait for the line about feeling stronger and do not cancel. The Goron beside the boulders breaks through and the Goron Cave appears on the ranch map. His neighbour Meenie offers a separate fusion that opens a chest on a ledge of Crenel Wall; it is not part of this quest.
The 5 Mysterious Walls
Each wall is a blank round stone at the end of a tunnel. Equip the Mole Mitts, dig to the end and fuse a blue piece with the wall. Every fusion shows a cutscene of the Gorons chipping at their rock, and one more Goron joins them.
Wall 1: Minish Woods tunnel
Go through the Eastern Hills and Lon Lon Ranch towards Lake Hylia, then south into the Minish Woods. The trail starts south-west of Syrup’s Hut. Dig through the closed doorway in the cliff, follow the tunnel west to a chest with a blue Kinstone piece and keep digging to the dead end. The wall is there.
Wall 2: Trilby Highlands cliffs
Go to Trilby Highlands, climb the cliff ledges beyond the grass and dash along them to a blue Kinstone piece. Use it on the Mysterious Wall in the cliff. A cutscene shows two Gorons breaking a wall and a third joins them.
Wall 3: Mt. Crenel Mole Mitts cave
On Mt. Crenel, take the ladder on the left near the Crenel Hermit’s cave and dig through the sand to the pedestal with a Piece of Heart. The wall stands just beyond it, and a fourth Goron arrives.
Wall 4: Eastern Hills farm cave
Back at Eenie and Meenie’s farm, dig into the cave in the top-left of the farm and fuse a blue piece with the wall at its end. The fifth Goron arrives, but the big blue chest in the middle of the cave stays shut for now.
Wall 5: Lake Hylia
Warp to Lake Hylia. With Roc’s Cape, jump between the islands to the northernmost cave and dig through to its Mysterious Wall. Fuse a blue piece with it: the sixth Goron arrives and all six break through the wall, revealing a chest.
Goron Cave: 200 rupees and the Empty Bottle
Chest and altar
Walk to the Goron Cave on the cliff above Lon Lon Ranch. The chest that appeared in the first chamber holds 200 rupees. Climb the ladder past the six Gorons to the altar chamber and open the big chest for the Empty Bottle, your fourth. See Bottle Locations for the other three.
Biggoron and the Mirror Shield
Wake Biggoron
After the story, return to the Goron Cave and talk to the Gorons in a row. Fuse a red piece with the Goron on the far right. The ground shakes and a huge Goron wakes with a yawn and takes his place at the top of Veil Falls. This only works once all six Gorons are in the cave.
Feed him a shield
Walk up to Biggoron at Veil Springs and talk to him. He wants to taste your Small Shield and warns that you will have none afterwards. Agree and he swallows it, leaving the shield slot empty. He does not return it at once, so carry on with other business and come back later. He then says it shines and hands you the Mirror Shield, which reflects beams and magic. If you lose it, buy another Small Shield in Hyrule Town and feed it to him again.
