Overview

Twilight Princess is the last Zelda game made for Gamecube and first game on the Wii. The Wii version uses motion controls while the Gamecube version uses classic controls similar to The Wind Waker.

In this installment, Link appears as a young farm hand in the small village of Ordon. The mayor of Ordon has selected him to go to Hyrule Castle and deliever a gift to the Hylain Royal Family for the yearly Hyrule Summit. Unfortunately for our long-eared hero, things go a little bit differently then planned. A group of monsters arrive in Ordon and kidnap the children of the village. Being the courageous hero he is, Link immediately sets off to track down the monsters and save the village’s children. Along the way, Link will face many perils, and cross swords with many an enemy, uncovering an evil plot by a mysterious figure known as Zant. The twilight is spreading. Time’s running out for the land of Hyrule. Take your sword in hand, and set off on your quest!

The Hero’s Journey: Restoring the Light

Part 1: The Light and the Wolf

• Chapter 1: Ordon Village: Starting the Adventure – Familiarize yourself with Link’s daily life and basic controls in his home village.
• Chapter 2: Enter Twilight Realm: Into the Shadows – Link is transformed into a wolf and meets Midna, beginning the quest to combat the Twilight.
• Chapter 3: Faron Woods Tears of Light – Path to Forest Temple: Cleansing the Woods – Collect the Tears of Light to restore Faron Woods and open the way to the first temple.
• Chapter 4: Forest Temple: Dungeon I – Navigate the Forest Temple, rescue monkeys, acquire the Gale Boomerang, and defeat Diababa.
• Chapter 5: Twilight Kakariko: Cleansing Kakariko – Restore Kakariko Village by collecting the Tears of Light in the surrounding Eldin Province.
• Chapter 6: Death Mountain: The Goron Tribe – Ascend Death Mountain, prove your strength to the Gorons, and gain access to their mines.
• Chapter 7: Goron Mines: Dungeon II – Explore the Goron Mines, master the Iron Boots, obtain the Hero’s Bow, and defeat Fyrus.
• Chapter 8: Twilight Lanayru Province: Cleansing Lanayru – Track Tears of Light across the vast Lanayru Province, including Hyrule Castle Town, to restore the region.
• Chapter 9: Lake Hylia Sidequests: Exploring the Lake – Engage in various side quests and mini-games around the newly restored Lake Hylia.
• Chapter 10: Lakebed Temple: Dungeon III – Delve into the underwater Lakebed Temple, solve water puzzles, acquire the Clawshot, and defeat Morpheel.

Part 2: Blade of Evil’s Bane

• Chapter 11: Legendary Master Sword: Claiming the Sword – Journey to the Sacred Grove, solve its puzzles, and retrieve the Master Sword to repel Twilight.
• Chapter 12: Gerudo Desert: Across the Sands – Navigate the Gerudo Desert, infiltrate the enemy camp, and find the Arbiter’s Grounds.
• Chapter 13: Arbiter’s Grounds Walkthrough: Dungeon IV – Explore the haunted Arbiter’s Grounds, use the Spinner to traverse its traps, and defeat Stallord.
• Chapter 14: Snowpeak Mountain: Icy Ascent – Travel to the freezing Snowpeak Mountain and find a way into the mysterious mansion at its summit.
• Chapter 15: Snowpeak Ruins Walkthrough: Dungeon V – Navigate the puzzling Snowpeak Ruins mansion, acquire the Ball and Chain, and defeat Blizzeta.
• Chapter 16: Return to the Sacred Grove: Path to the Past – Revisit the Sacred Grove, solve new puzzles involving the Skull Kid, and open the way to the Temple of Time.
• Chapter 17: Temple of Time Walkthrough: Dungeon VI – Explore the Temple of Time, use the Dominion Rod to solve puzzles, and defeat Armogohma.

Part 3: Restoring the Realm

• Chapter 18: Hidden Village: Secrets of the Past – Find the Hidden Village, clear out the enemies, and learn crucial information from Impaz.
• Chapter 19: City in the Sky Walkthrough: Dungeon VII – Ascend to the City in the Sky, master the Double Clawshots, navigate aerial challenges, and defeat Argorok.
