After your encounter with Yuga at the Eastern Palace, it’s time to address the emerging troubles in Hyrule.
Obtaining the Pouch
Upon exiting the dungeon, utilize your newfound ability to merge with walls. This skill allows you to traverse previously inaccessible areas. As you descend, you’ll encounter a moving platform that retracts periodically; merge with the wall to avoid falling. Once outside, your next destination is Link’s House.
At your house, engage in conversation with Ravio. Afterward, proceed westward and then south, leading you to the Blacksmith’s house. Speak with Gulley’s mother, who expresses concern about her missing son. She suggests he might be in the woods to the south. Navigate north through the bushes to find a wooden stump with a bag resting atop it. This is the Pouch, which expands your inventory capacity.
Acquiring the Power Gloves
Attempt to return to the Sanctuary, but you’ll be interrupted by a character who provides you with a bell. This item allows for fast travel between weather vanes. With the bell in hand, head north until you reach a red-roofed house with a noticeable hole in its structure. Enter to meet Rosso, a miner by trade. After a brief dialogue, Rosso entrusts you with the Power Gloves, enabling you to lift small rocks obstructing various paths.
Securing the Pegasus Boots
From Link’s House, journey eastward and then south, following the path past the shop marked with a shield symbol. Cross the log bridge and converse with the man on the island. Continue north, and after crossing a bridge, you’ll be directed eastward. Here, you’ll find a house adjacent to a save point, with a Zora nearby. Merge with the wall and proceed right, taking the top-right exit of the area. Descend the cliff and follow the shallow water upstream to a cave entrance. Inside, you’ll encounter the Zora Queen.
After assisting the Queen, return to Kakariko Village. In the village, you’ll notice a blonde man blocking a path. To bypass him, circle around to the right side of the cliff he’s guarding. Merge with the wall and approach him from behind. Upon unmerging, he’ll reward you with the Pegasus Boots, granting you the ability to dash and break certain obstacles.
Obtaining the Zora’s Flippers
In Kakariko Village, locate the merchant selling various items. Purchase the item on the right for 200 Rupees. With this item in hand, return to the Zora Queen’s cave. Present the item to her, and in gratitude, she’ll grant you the Zora’s Flippers, allowing you to swim and dive in deeper waters.
Renting Items from Ravio
Head back to Link’s House, now transformed into Ravio’s shop. Speak with Ravio, who offers a selection of items for rent. At this juncture, it’s advisable to rent the Tornado Rod and the Hammer, as they’ll be instrumental in overcoming upcoming challenges.
