After acquiring the Tornado Rod, your next objective is the House of Gales, located in southeastern Hyrule. To access it, swim to the central island and use the Tornado Rod between the two stone pillars marked with its symbol, revealing a hidden switch that opens the dungeon entrance.
Navigating the Dungeon
First Floor (1F):
Upon entering, break the pots to uncover a floor switch. Activating it triggers fans that create upward drafts. Stand beneath these drafts and use the Tornado Rod to elevate yourself to the higher platform, then proceed north. In the subsequent room, descend into the pit on the right to access a crystal switch. Strike it to lower a wall, granting access to the central area. Ascend the nearby steps to find two unlit torches; lighting them with your Lamp reveals a chest containing 20 Rupees.
Return to the pit area, but this time, merge into the wall to cross over to the right-side door. Inside, you’ll face flame-enveloped enemies known as Bubbles. Utilize the Tornado Rod to extinguish their flames, rendering them vulnerable to sword attacks. Defeating all Bubbles spawns a chest with a Small Key. With the key, unlock the door in the southwest corner of the main room. Merge with the moving platform to reach a higher ledge where a chest containing the Compass awaits.
Second Floor (2F):
Ascend to the second floor by utilizing the central fan. Stand atop it and activate the Tornado Rod to propel yourself upward. Navigate southward, using the Tornado Rod to evade rolling spike traps. In the southwest corner, break pots to reveal a switch that spawns a Small Key elsewhere in the room. Proceed eastward, ascend the stairs, and merge into the southern wall to access the previously spawned key. Return to the main area and unlock the southern door. Inside, pull the rightmost lever to reveal a large chest containing the Big Key.
Third Floor (3F):
Utilize the Big Key to access the boss chamber. Position yourself on the moving platform and, as it approaches the northern section, deploy the Tornado Rod to elevate yourself onto the higher platform leading to the boss door.
Boss Battle: Margomill
Phase 1
Margomill is a towering, spinning entity with an eye atop its structure. To attack, wait for it to approach, then use the Tornado Rod to launch yourself onto its head and strike the eye with your sword.
Phase 2
After sustaining damage, Margomill adds additional segments to its body, increasing its height. Slash at these segments to reduce its size, then repeat the Tornado Rod maneuver to access and attack the eye.
