Playing the song normally will send you back in time to Day 1, and will save your game. You’ll lose non-essential items like rupees and arrows, and dungeons will reset.

Sonata of Awakening

As Deku Link, go to Woodfall and find the tree trunk with a Deku carving on it. Play this song with your pipes to reveal Woodfall Temple.

The Monkey being held prisoner in Deku Palace will teach you this song in return for the retrieval of the Deku Princess.
Song of Healing
You can use this on people who have a broken heart to advance the quest, and if you play it next to a Gossip Stone, it will release a pink fairy for you to catch in a bottle.
How To Obtain the Song of Healing
When you return to Day 1 for the first time, the Happy Mask Salesman will teach you this song.
Goron Lullaby
This can be used to put Goron’s to sleep – first, the crying baby, and second, the Giant Goron who is preventing you from crossing the bridge to Snowhead Temple.
How To Obtain the Goron Lullaby
The first part is obtained from the Elder Goron. He can be found on the path to Goron Village in a snowball, but he’ll need to be thawed using hot spring water. If you play this to the crying Goron in the Village, you’ll be taught the second part.
Epona’s Song
This song will call Epona in selected outdoor areas, and it can be used to milk cows if you have a empty bottle.
How To Obtain Epona’s Song
You need to make your way to Romani Ranch before the first night to obtain this song (which requires the use of a Powder Keg). Talk to Romani, who is worried about the impending alien attack, and she’ll teach you a song (that you should really already know) that Epona seems to like if you complete a training task.
New Wave Bossa Nova
By playing this to Lulu, you’ll cheer her up and gain access to the Great Bay Temple.
How To Obtain This Song
You need to collect all the Zora eggs from the Gerudo Fortress, and drop them in the tank.
Song of Soaring
One of the most useful songs in the game, this can be used to warp to any Owl statue that you’ve activated by hitting with your sword. You can also warp to the beginning of a dungeon by playing this song.
How To Obtain the Song of Soaring
You can find an stone plaque near Woodfall. If you stand in front of it, and take out your Ocarina, you can learn the Song of Soaring.
Elegy of Emptiness
This can be used to solve puzzles on the path to and in the Stone Tower. By standing on a switch, you can play this song to leave a replica of yourself to keep the switch held down. You can only make one copy of each version of Link, and as Deku Link isn’t heavy enough to press many switches, you have to think smart during puzzles.
How To Obtain the Elegy of Emptiness
This is received by defeating King Yigorse in Ikana Palace.
Song of Storms
Well, you can use it simply to summon rain, and it sounds excellent, so you might want to listen to it for enjoyment. It’s actual use is to stop Sharp from attacking you in Ikana Village.
How To Obtain the Song of Storms
On the first day, there’s a tombstone in Ikana Graveyard that contains another stone plaque with the songs notes.
Oath to Order
At the top of the Clock Tower, at the showdown with Skull Kid, you should play this song to call the four Giants who will hold the Moon while you defeat Majora’s Mask.
How To Obtain the Oath to Order
This is obtained from the Giant of Woodfall.
Scarecrow’s Song
Teach this song to Pierre (the scarecrow) and summon him to be used as a target for the hookshot.
Inverted Song of Time
Slows down the natural speed of time to half.
Song of Double Time
Effect: Skips to the next morning or evening (6 am or 6 pm)
