While journeying through the Eldin region, be sure to stop at Foothill Stable, nestled on the road between Lake Ferona and Cephla Lake. Inside, you’ll spot an empty frame leaning against the wall—interacting with it catches the attention of the stable’s owner, Ozunda, and gently prompts him to speak. This initiates the side quest “A Picture for Foothill Stable.”
Ozunda explains that the Stable Association encourages displays of local landmarks—and he’d love a painting of the grand Daruk statue carved into the stone overlooking Goron City. Unfortunately, he’s unable to paint it in person. If Link could simply bring him a reference photo, he’d happily reproduce it.
Quest Begins – Examining the Frame
Step up and inspect the empty picture frame to trigger the dialogue with Ozunda. With the camera tool already unlocked via Camera Work in the Depths, you’re ready to take the photo he needs.
Photographing the Daruk Sculpture
Next, fast-travel to Marakuguc Shrine in Goron City. From just outside the shrine entrance, glance to your right and you’ll see the colossal stone effigy of Daruk. Frame it well in your Purah Pad, wait until the red “!” marker appears in your viewfinder, and snap the shot. Make sure it’s clearly visible and fills the frame—that’s what Ozunda needs.

Returning to Foothill Stable
With the image saved, return to Foothill Stable. Inspect the empty frame again, and when prompted, say “I have just the picture!” Ozunda will be delighted to see your photo and ask to paint his copy.

The Reward and Optional Extras
Ozunda admires your photograph, praises your composition—it truly captures Daruk’s essence. He’ll happily paint the picture and hang it on his wall. As thanks, you receive one Pony Point and a Fireproof Elixir—ideally useful in Eldin’s heat.
If your inventory is full, he may delay the reward until you free up some space.
