Welcome to the character guide for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds! Released for the Nintendo 3DS, this acclaimed title revisits the classic Hyrule first explored in A Link to the Past, but introduces a parallel dimension – the decaying kingdom of Lorule.
Central to the adventure is Link’s unique ability to merge into walls as a 2D painting, allowing for innovative puzzle-solving and exploration across these two interconnected worlds. The story is driven by a diverse cast, featuring both familiar faces in new circumstances and entirely original characters, including intriguing counterparts in the land of Lorule.
Meet the heroes, villains, sages, and allies who shape Link’s journey to restore balance between the two kingdoms. Below you’ll find details on the key figures encountered in Hyrule and Lorule.
