While the quantity may be fewer compared to other titles, locating each Piece can be challenging. This guide provides detailed instructions to help you find all 12 Pieces of Heart in Holodrum.

Location: Horon Village
Requirements: Ember Seeds
Season: Any
In the northeastern section of Horon Village, there’s a small tree blocking a Piece of Heart. Use Ember Seeds to burn the tree and collect the Piece.
Piece of Heart #2
Location: Eastern Suburbs
Requirements: Rod of Seasons with the Power of Winter
Season: Winter
East of Horon Village, find a tree stump. Change the season to winter, then head north and west to a cave. Inside, you’ll find the Piece of Heart.
Piece of Heart #3
Location: Woods of Winter
Requirements: Power Bracelet or Zora’s Flippers
Season: Any
In the southeastern part of the Woods of Winter, a Piece of Heart is hidden behind a rock. Lift the rock with the Power Bracelet or swim across using the Flippers to access it.
Piece of Heart #4
Location: Subrosian Market
Requirements: 20 Ore Chunks, 10 Ember Seeds
Season: Any
In the Subrosian Market, purchase the “Rare Peach Stone” (actually a Piece of Heart) for 20 Ore Chunks and 10 Ember Seeds.
Piece of Heart #5
Location: Great Moblin’s Keep
Requirements: Power Bracelet, Zora’s Flippers
Season: Any
Enter the Great Moblin’s Keep by swimming to its southwestern entrance. Inside, defeat the Great Moblin by throwing his bombs back at him. After his defeat, a chest containing the Piece of Heart will appear in the ruins.

Location: Mt. Cucco
Requirements: Rod of Seasons with the Power of Spring
Season: Spring
Near the entrance to Level 4, Dancing Dragon Dungeon, change the season to spring. Use a spring flower to reach higher ground, then navigate to a ledge where the Piece of Heart is located.

Location: Spool Swamp
Requirements: Rod of Seasons with the Power of Spring, Zora’s Flippers
Season: Spring
Near the entrance to Level 3, Poison Moth’s Lair, change the season to spring. Navigate southward through the swamp, using the Flippers to ride the currents to a small island with the Piece of Heart.

Location: Eyeglass Lake
Requirements: Rod of Seasons with the Power of Summer
Season: Summer
Instructions: From Level 5, Unicorn’s Cave, change the season to summer. Navigate to a dried-up lakebed, enter the revealed staircase, and find the Piece of Heart inside.
Piece of Heart #9
Location: Graveyard
Requirements: Rod of Seasons with the Power of Autumn, Roc’s Cape
Season: Autumn
In the southwestern region of Holodrum, near the pirate ship, change the season to autumn. Enter a cave to the west, use Roc’s Cape to navigate obstacles, and find the Piece of Heart on the other side.

Location: Temple Remains
Requirements: Roc’s Cape
Season: Any
After causing the volcano to erupt, access the Temple Remains. Bomb a cracked wall to reveal a cave, then use Roc’s Cape to navigate the lava-filled room and obtain the Piece of Heart.
Piece of Heart #11
Location: Various Maple Encounter Locations
Requirements: None
Season: Any
Occasionally, when encountering Maple after defeating a set number of enemies, she may drop a Piece of Heart. Be quick to collect it before she does. This occurrence is random and may require multiple attempts.
Piece of Heart #12
Location: Various Gasha Tree Locations
Requirements: Gasha Seeds
Season: Any
This Piece of Heart is, along with the Maple one, the hardest to get in the game. You get this one from a grown Gasha Nut, and it is completely random if you get it. You just have to keep planting Gasha Seeds and hope to eventually get the Piece of Heart from it.
However, here’s a little hint that might help you: It is said that you’re more likely to get it in Gasha Seed locations that are harder to reach. The one in Tarm Ruins (see image) is a location like this. To find it, make it Winter, using the tree stump to the right of the warp tree, and go down a screen and right a screen, the screen where the Gasha Seed location is found. Get out your shovel and dig up the snow pile to the right on the fourth row from the top. Plant a Gasha Seed, kill some time, and return when the Gasha Nut is grown. Now, before you grab the Gasha Nut, save the game. Once saved, grab the Gasha Nut and see if it is the Piece of Heart. If it’s not, reset the game and try again. If it’s not the Piece of Heart this time either, reset again and repeat until you get the Piece of Heart. Doing it like this is by no means required, but it helps a lot because you get an eternal amount of chances without planting even one more.
