Quest: One-Hit Wonder!
Location: Near Tarrey Town (often along roads/paths leading away from town, or near minor ruins/monster camps).
Quest Giver: An NPC challenger (Hylian, sometimes).

Flawless Victory Challenge!

As you travel the roads and paths around Tarrey Town (not usually inside the town itself), keep an eye out for a lone NPC standing near a potential combat area – maybe near some ruins, a natural bottleneck in a path, or a small monster outpost. This challenger is looking for skilled warriors to take on their “One-Hit Wonder!” challenge.

Your Mission: Don’t. Get. Hit.

Find the Challenger: Locate the NPC offering this specific combat trial. They’ll likely boast about its difficulty. Examples of where they might appear: along the road south of Tarrey Town heading towards Akkala Span, or on paths leading into the Akkala Highlands.

Accept the Challenge: Talk to the NPC (A button) and agree to attempt the challenge. There’s usually a Rupee entry fee (maybe 50-100 Rupees). Pay up to start.

Survey the Arena: The NPC will designate a small group of nearby enemies (Bokoblins, Lizalfos, etc.) as your targets. Note their types, weapons, and positions.

Strategize for Perfection: The ONLY rule is: defeat all targets without taking ANY damage. Even a tiny nick from an arrow or rock means failure. Plan accordingly:

• Buff Up First: Before confirming the start, eat meals or drink elixirs for Attack Up (Mighty food) or Stealth Up (Sneaky food).
• Stealth Approach: Use the Stealth Armor set. Sneakstrike (Y when prompted from behind) enemies one by one if possible.
• Ranged Supremacy: Use a powerful bow (like a Lynel Bow) and aim for headshots. Elemental arrows are key: Ice Arrows to freeze targets, Electric Arrows to disarm or stun groups, Bomb Arrows for AoE damage (be careful not to get caught in your own blast!).
• Zonai Mayhem: Use Puffshrooms to create smoke cover and confuse enemies. Use Muddle Buds to make enemies fight each other. Deploy automated weapons like Beam Emitters or Cannons on Homing Carts. Use Time Bombs strategically.
• Environmental Aids: Look for explosive barrels, loose boulders, or high ground to shoot from.

Execute Carefully: Start the fight. Prioritize threats (archers first!). Keep moving, use your shield (ZL), flurry rush (X then Y after dodging) or parry (ZL then A just before hit) if you’re confident, but remember: getting hit means instant failure.

Restart if Hit: If you take damage, you’ll likely get a failure message. You’ll have to go back to the NPC, pay the entry fee again, and retry the challenge.

Claim Your Prize: Once all designated enemies are defeated without you taking any damage, return to the NPC challenger.

The Payoff:

For proving your mastery of dodging and destruction, the challenger will reward you handsomely:

• Usually a significant Rupee prize (often several hundred).
• Sometimes a valuable Weapon or Shield with good stats or modifiers.
• Possibly rare Monster Parts or Gems.
• The sheer satisfaction of a flawless victory!
