In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, there are four Empty Bottles that Link can acquire throughout his journey. These versatile items can hold various contents such as potions, fairies, and other useful substances. Below is a detailed guide on how to obtain each bottle:

Bottle #1: Dragon Roost Island

Location: Dragon Roost Island (F2)

Requirements: None

How to Obtain: Upon arriving at Dragon Roost Island, Link will meet Medli, a Rito attendant. After speaking with her inside the Rito’s main hall, she will move to a lower exterior area near the entrance to Dragon Roost Cavern. Medli requests Link’s assistance to reach a higher ledge. To help her:

1. Pick up Medli and stand on a nearby elevated rock.
2. Wait for the wind to blow toward the ledge.
3. Throw Medli when the wind is favorable so she can glide to the ledge.

As a token of gratitude, Medli gives Link the first Empty Bottle.

Bottle #2: Bomb Island Submarine

Location: Submarine near Bomb Island (F5)

Requirements: Access to the Great Sea with the ability to sail

How to Obtain: South of Bomb Island, Link can find a submarine. Inside the submarine:

1. Enter the submarine and defeat all the enemies within.
2. After clearing the area, a chest will appear containing the second Empty Bottle.

Bottle #3: Rock Spire Isle Shop Ship

Location: Beedle’s Shop Ship near Rock Spire Isle (B3)

Requirements: 500 Rupees

How to Obtain: Beedle operates a special Shop Ship around Rock Spire Isle, identifiable by his helmet and the shop’s unique appearance. Inside:

1. Locate and enter Beedle’s Shop Ship near Rock Spire Isle.
2. Purchase the Empty Bottle for 500 Rupees.

Bottle #4: Windfall Island Nighttime Quest

Location: Windfall Island (D2)

Requirements: Completion of the Forsaken Fortress mission (rescuing Aryll)

How to Obtain: After rescuing Aryll, return to Windfall Island at night and find Mila, the girl who was previously wealthy but is now impoverished. She can be found near Zunari’s shop. To obtain the bottle:

1. Approach Mila; she will tell Link to go away.
2. Walk away, and she will begin to sneak toward Zunari’s safe.
3. Stealthily follow her without being detected.
4. When she attempts to open the safe, confront her by speaking to her.
5. During the conversation, choose the first dialogue option for each question.

Successfully doing so will result in Mila giving Link the fourth Empty Bottle.

These bottles are invaluable for storing helpful items throughout Link’s adventure, enhancing his ability to heal and utilize various potions and fairies.
