Overview
The Oracle games mark a first for the Legend of Zelda series. Both games, released on the same day, are linkable and each feature a unique antagonist not seen in any other Zelda game. The gameplay is reminiscent of Link’s Awakening and each prologue begins with Link riding on horseback to a mysterious temple and then being whisked off to a new land by the Triforce.
In Oracle of Seasons, upon waking in the world of Holodrum, Link follows the sound of jovial music to find a traveling music and dance troupe. Among them is Din, the Oracle of Seasons herself. As the sky turns dark, the members of the troupe are swept up by a tornado, and the voice of Onox, General of Darkness, appears to announce his capture of the Oracle of Seasons. With Din chained up in Onox Castle, only Link, armed with courage and the Rod of Seasons, can save her now. So what are you waiting for?
