How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates 1949, 2687, on the cliffside north-east of Goron City, beyond Goro Cove. An armored Blue Bokoblin, a Fire Chuchu and some Keese guard the mouth of the cave; one guide suggests a heavy weapon or a Like Like Stone for the Bokoblin. The cave is full of lava, so wear Flame Guard armor or eat a fireproof meal before going in.

Inside the cave

Enter the skull-marked cave mouth

The entrance is a cave mouth in the red rock of the Death Mountain foothills, marked by a Bokoblin skull gate. Lava flows through the passages inside, and much of the cave is walled off by Marbled Rock that only Yunobo’s fire power can break. Take the Brightbloom Seeds lying near the start to light the dark tunnels.

Open the chest for a Cobble-Crusher Halberd

Defeat the Fire Like and Horriblin in the first large area and a chest becomes reachable. It holds a Cobble-Crusher Spear (the Cobble-Crusher Halberd later in the game, depending on your progress), a spear that is good at smashing rock. Along the southern wall, Marbled Rock hides a second chest; charge it with Yunobo to reach a Ruby.

Mine the red ore for a Ruby

Ore deposits are scattered through the cave and can be mined with a hammer or a rock-breaking weapon. Pick up the Ruby and other gems they drop, then continue east toward the end of the cave.

Defeat the Bubbulfrog

At the very end of the cave on the eastern side, charge through the Marbled Rock with Yunobo to open a room containing the Bubbulfrog. Knock it down and defeat it to collect a Bubbul Gem.
