How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates 4473, -826, near Tarm Point. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.

Inside the cave

Enter the cave at Tarm Point

Walk into the cave mouth in the cliff above Tarm Point. Sasan stands just inside; talk to him if you are carrying out the True Treasure side quest.

Cross the flooded cave on a raft

Build a raft with Ultrahand from a board, a fan or sail and wheels, and sail south across the flooded passage; the water level rises and falls.

Freeze a path to the Royal Shield

A chest sits on a ledge in the middle of the water. Fuse White Chuchu Jelly to an arrow and shoot the water to make ice, then step across it for the Royal Shield (or Traveler’s Shield, Soldier’s Shield or Knight’s Shield, depending on your progress).

Catch the Bubbulfrog

Keep sailing south until you spot the glowing Bubbulfrog; hit it as you pass and collect the Bubbul Gem. The passage then leads on to Yomizuk Shrine.

Quest, chests and tips

  • Entrance: one hole in the ground among the Ancient Hylian ruins on top of Tarm Point; drop down into it. The cave is flooded and the water level constantly rises and falls.
  • True Treasure: after clearing the Water Temple, Kodah in Zora’s Domain tells you that Finley and Sasan went to Tarm Point. Sasan waits inside and cannot cross the water; a pre-built raft is provided and a Korok Frond on a stick can propel it. Wait for the water to rise between rock groups, because hitting rocks with the raft scares Sasan and resets the quest. Finley stands by Yomizuk Shrine at the far end, and Sasan gives you an Opal as a reward.
  • Chests: a wooden chest floating at the north end of the cave holds a Soldier’s Shield according to guides; the Royal Shield chest is described above. The Yomizuk Shrine at the end has a chest with a Diamond.
  • Bubbulfrog: behind rubble in the cave. Clear it with Bomb Blowers fired from the raft; another guide places it in a room past boulders on the passage to the left of the entrance.
  • Enemies and materials: mostly harmless; Bright-Eyed Crabs, Brightcaps and many Brightbloom Seeds. No Korok seeds are listed.
