How to find it

The entrance is at map coordinates 1446, -3483, near Dragonhead Island. Look for the cave mouth at that spot; a Blupee or a ring of light often marks them.

Inside the cave

Smash through the boulder passages

Enter the cave mouth on the hillside above Ubota Point and push through the ferns. Boulders choke the tunnel, so clear each pile with a Bomb Flower, a bomb or a heavy weapon swing and keep moving forward.

Open the Royal Claymore chest

Break the last rock wall at the end of the passage to uncover a chest holding a Knight’s Claymore (or Traveler’s Claymore, Soldier’s Claymore or Royal Claymore, depending on your progress) (it scales up to a Royal Claymore as your progress rises, so a late-game save will see the Royal version).

Shoot the Bubbulfrog

In the final cavern the Bubbulfrog hangs in the air above a boulder. Hit it with an arrow and collect the Bubbul Gem it drops.

Entrance, chest and requirements

EntranceOne entrance, a level above the ground behind greenery on the slope northwest of Lakeside Stable, north of Ubota Point
ChestOne chest: Knight’s Claymore (a Royal Claymore later on, as the weapon scales with your progress)
Bubbul GemOne Bubbulfrog in the small chamber beside the chest tunnel
EnemiesNone apart from the Bubbulfrog
RequirementsBomb Flowers, bombs or a heavy or rock-fused weapon to break the rock; a bow and arrows for the Bubbulfrog

If you cannot find the entrance, feed Meat to the dog at Lakeside Stable and it will lead you up the slope to the cave mouth. Rocks and red sediment block the way in, so smash or blast them. Inside, a short tunnel runs west to the chest. For the Bubbulfrog, step back into the tunnel you dug and break north: only a thin layer of rock separates you from its chamber. It takes several arrows to knock it down before it drops the Bubbul Gem. There is no shrine, Lightroot or Korok puzzle inside the cave.
