Walkthrough
Talk to Sophie in front of Ventest Clothing
Sophie only runs the vote during the daytime on a clear day, so wait out rain or night if needed. Talk to her and gather with the villagers in the plaza.

Hear the candidates out
Reede and Cece each say a few words and the village votes. Reede stays on as mayor, but the two decide to work together to help Hateno Village thrive. Cece then asks you to visit Ventest Clothing so she can thank you.

Collect the Cece Hat at Ventest Clothing
Go into Ventest Clothing and talk to Cece. She hands over her masterpiece, the Cece Hat, as a thank-you for wrapping things up peacefully. Equip it from the Armor menu.

Rewards
You receive the Cece Hat (head armor). Nintendo Life also reports that the Royal Guard Uniform and the Hylian Tunic go on sale in Cece’s shop afterwards. The election also opens the follow-up quest Homegrown in Hateno, from Reede.
Starting the questline
The adventure begins at Cece’s store in Hateno Village, where Mayor Reede bursts in and Cece proposes an election to settle the dispute over her mushroom fashion and his crops. You then work through the five prerequisite quests: delivering eight Hylian Shrooms to eight villagers (their positions change with the time of day), following Cece, helping Reede recall a recipe, fishing a bottled letter from a pond for Koyin, and uncovering Reede’s secret. Sophie only holds the vote in daytime and in clear weather (one guide says cloudy is fine too).
