Rahdo challenges you to stand on a pillar through the cold of the night in only your underwear. Do not touch the ground, keep warm any way you can, and you win 100 rupees before he starts the heat-endurance rematch.

Walkthrough

Meet Rahdo at his tent

Go to Rahdo’s tent and campfire on the clifftop in Gerudo Canyon, near Mount Granajh at about (-1370, -3353). He proposes an endurance contest where anyone can endure the cold with clothing off. Accept and change down to your underwear.

Climb your pillar

At dusk Rahdo climbs one stone pillar and you climb the other beside it. Stay on top; touching the ground means you lose.

Outlast the night

Survive until sunrise by keeping your hearts up: eat Spicy food before you start, hold a flame weapon, or build a campfire on the pillar. Keep eating when your hearts drop.

Collect your winnings

Around 4:30 in the morning Rahdo collapses and concedes, handing you a Silver Rupee (100 rupees). He immediately challenges you to the Heat-Endurance Contest! at the same spot.

Rewards

  • Silver Rupee (100 rupees)
  • Access to the Heat-Endurance Contest!

Tips

  • Anything you build before the contest starts disappears; set up your campfire or fused fire item after it begins, and avoid pausing the game, which stops the clock.
  • Fusing a Ruby to your shield is the easiest way to stay warm. You also lose if your hearts get too low.
  • Cooking Spicy meals before the contest makes the night easy.
