RequirementsFinish Mattison’s Independence; 1,500 rupees (half price; the plot normally costs 3,000) for the land and two starter rooms
RewardYour own house in Tarrey Town, with extra rooms you can buy and place

After you finish Mattison’s Independence, buy a dream home from Rhondson at Hudson Construction, then place your first two rooms on the plot southeast of Tarrey Town with Ultrahand and let Grantéson inspect them. The house is yours, and you can keep adding rooms up to the 15-unit limit.

Walkthrough

Buy the plot from Rhondson

Talk to Rhondson at the counter of the Hudson Construction office in Tarrey Town. Once Mattison’s Independence is done she offers you land and a home; accept and pay for it. Afterward she tells you to speak with the Hudson Construction representative waiting at the plot for the details.

Meet Grantéson at the plot

Head to the empty plot southeast of Tarrey Town, where Grantéson stands at his building counter, and talk to him. He gives you two starter rooms, a Bedroom and a Foyer, and tells you to let him know when you are done so he can inspect the house. The nearby Rasitakiwak Shrine is the best fast travel point for the plot.

Place and join your rooms

Pick up a room frame with Ultrahand and set it down on the plot; each room uses up units from the counter at the top of the screen. Snap the second room against the first until the Attach prompt appears and fuse them together, keeping every part inside the rope boundary or the design will not pass. Stack rooms upward as well as sideways if you want a bigger house.

Pass the inspection

Talk to Grantéson when you are finished and he checks the build. If he finds no problems, Home on Arrange completes and the house is yours.

Add more rooms

Return to Grantéson any time to buy extra rooms. The list includes a Furnished Square Room, Weapon Stand Room, Bow Stand Room, Shield Stand Room, Gallery, Study, Foyer, Paddock, Blessing Room and Indoor Stairs, each with its own price. The house can hold up to 15 units in total, so plan the layout before you buy. Most rooms cost about 400 rupees (Study 250, Foyer and Angled Room 300, Square Room 350, Gallery and Bedroom 400, Weapon, Bow and Shield Stand rooms 600), you can buy duplicates, and you can have up to 3 galleries.

Rewards

  • Your own house in Tarrey Town
  • The option to buy and place additional rooms

Tips

  • Display racks (weapon, bow and shield stand rooms) let you show off gear you do not want to carry, including fused weapons.
  • Anything outside the rope boundary is put into Granteson’s storage, and you can rearrange the house later by talking to him at his desk.
  • Mattison’s Independence pays 200 rupees in Silver Rupees, which helps cover the land.
