UnlocksThe repaired rope bridge

Gesane and Juannelle want the blizzard-damaged rope bridge repaired. Fetch the carpenter Karson from Lookout Landing, then give him 20 Wood at the bridge. Karson only agrees once the Incomplete Stable at Lookout Landing is finished, so do that first if you have not.

Walkthrough

Talk to Gesane

Speak to Gesane at the Lucky Clover Gazette. He and Juannelle cannot find a carpenter, but they have heard of one at Lookout Landing whose name ends in “son”. The clue can mislead you to think of Hudson, but the carpenter is Karson. Gesane and Juannelle stand in front of the damaged bridge by the Lucky Clover Gazette.

Recruit Karson

Travel to Lookout Landing and talk to Karson, the carpenter near the stable. If he is still busy building the stable, finish The Incomplete Stable first. Once he is free he agrees at once and heads for the bridge in Rito Village.

Learn how much wood he needs

Meet Karson at the damaged bridge under the snowy lean-to. He says the repair needs 20 pieces of Wood. Cut trees with an axe or any slashing weapon, then chop the logs again to make Wood bundles; the trees around the Lucky Clover Gazette are the nearest.

Hand over the Wood

Give Karson 20 Wood. He repairs the bridge, and Gesane rewards you with a Silver Rupee.

Rewards

A Silver Rupee (100 rupees), and the rope bridge is permanently repaired.

Tips

  • Trees along the road between the village and the bridge are the quickest source of Wood.
