Walkthrough

Talk to Kula

After clearing Musanokir Shrine, Kula is standing to the left of the shrine’s exit in Korok Forest. He heard from a friend about a big, whirly circle in an area with water and cannot go look himself, so he asks for a picture of it.

Photograph the whirlpool

A whirlpool turns in Lake Hylia, above En-oma Shrine (Popla Foothills Skyview Tower is the closest tower; from it head south-west and land on a nearby shore, or fast travel to En-oma Shrine and ride the waterfall up). Aim the Purah Pad camera at it so that the name tag reads Whirlpool with a red exclamation mark, and take the picture. You do not need to enter the water, and a Gleeok may be on the bridge nearby. Any whirlpool works; the one in the east reservoir lake, reached from Ihen-a Shrine, is also fine.

Show Kula the photo

Take the picture back to Kula in Korok Forest. He loves it, but now wants a big swirly circle of sand as well.

Photograph a quicksand sinkhole

Quicksand sinkholes swirl across the Gerudo Desert; any true sinkhole works, not just running sand. Guides commonly point to one close to Kara Kara Bazaar, the East Barrens near Siwakama Shrine (be quick, a Molduga may attack), or the entrance of the Ancient Prison Ruins in the Palu Wasteland. Stand on a pole or at the rim, take a picture with the name tag reading Quicksand sinkhole, and save it to the album.

Return to Kula for the carrots

Go back to Kula and show him the sand swirl. He is delighted and gives you five Endura Carrots.
