Passeri Greenbelt Cave

Passeri Greenbelt Cave is a short, misty Horriblin den just west of Lookout Landing. Clear the Horriblins, climb their bone lookout tower for a Spiky Spear, then bomb the cracked boulder wall to reach the Bubbulfrog and its Bubbul Gem.

How to find the entrance

From Lookout Landing, head west along the road and look north for a large pale rock outcrop standing in the grass. Walk around its base: the entrance is a dark opening between two grey boulders, with a pile of broken wood stacked to the right of it. There is no Blupee or light beam to follow, so use the boulders and the wood pile as your marker.

Route through the cave

A swarm of Keese hangs from the ceiling just inside, so keep moving or clear them with arrows. Past them, Horriblins cling to the roof and drop onto you. Shoot them off the ceiling or fight them on the ground. Defeat them all before you go further; they drop Horriblin Horns.

Spiky Spear chest

The Horriblins’ camp is built around a lookout tower of planks and bones. Climb the ladder on its side to the platform and open the chest next to the skull lantern for a Spiky Spear. If your weapon slots are full you must drop a weapon to take it.

Bubbulfrog and Bubbul Gem

In the main chamber, a wall of large cracked boulders hides the Bubbulfrog. Break it with a bomb, a Bomb Flower, a hammer or a rock-fused weapon. Shoot the frog with arrows as it hops in the hollow behind; a bomb arrow is the safest way to land the hit. When it pops it leaves a Bubbul Gem. Take gems to Koltin for The Hunt for Bubbul Gems!

Exits

The far end of the chamber opens through a wooden-framed doorway straight onto the grassland. For a faster exit, stand under the low ceiling near the doorway and use Ascend to rise onto the top of the outcrop above the entrance.

Nearby

Lookout Landing is in sight of the outcrop, so this cave fits an early loop of Hyrule Field.

Tips

  • Mine the ore deposits along the walls for Opal and Amber, and grab the Brightbloom Seeds to light the dark corners.
  • A hanging wooden platform in the chamber can be reached with Ascend and holds more Brightbloom Seeds and a Giant Brightbloom Seed.
