The Oakle’s Navel Cave Crystal

Inside Oakle’s Navel Cave a glowing green crystal asks to be carried along its ray of light to a hidden Shrine of Light. Take the crystal to the end of the beam to open Tokiy Shrine and earn a Light of Blessing.

Walkthrough

Pick up the crystal

Enter Oakle’s Navel Cave and find the green crystal resting on a stone pedestal. Pick it up to start the quest. The crystal casts a ray of light that points the way to the shrine.

Carry it along the ray of light

Follow the beam through the cave. Carrying the crystal by hand is slow, so rest it on a Zonai cart or other wheeled vehicle built with Ultrahand and push it along. Falling boulders cross the route in a couple of places; set the crystal down, use Recall on a boulder or step through the gaps, and keep the crystal intact.

Place it at the shrine

At the end of the beam, bring the crystal in front of the hidden shrine entrance. Placing it in the ray of light opens Tokiy Shrine. Step inside to receive the Light of Blessing; the shrine is a Rauru’s Blessing shrine with no puzzle.

Rewards

You earn access to Tokiy Shrine, its Light of Blessing and a chest with a Large Zonai Charge. Tokiy Shrine also unlocks a travel point and the Yikot Lightroot is directly below it.

Getting there and what to expect

The cave entrance is at the bottom of Oakle’s Navel, the lake in the north of the region, on its eastern side, and is easiest to reach from Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower. Near the start a Shock Like hangs from the ceiling; fight it or simply run past. Two sets of falling boulders (one on each side) cross the route, and a large boulder drops down the final narrow passage: put the crystal down and Recall the boulder so it flies back. Inside Tokiy Shrine there is one chest containing a Large Zonai Charge, besides the Light of Blessing.

Tips

• Put the crystal on a vehicle so you can rest the light beam on its target while you steer.
• The cave also holds chests, including one with an Eightfold Blade, so look around on the way.
