Korok Seeds are small collectibles that reward you for spotting something out of place: a lone rock, a ring of stones, a trail of flowers. Find the hidden Korok, solve the little puzzle, and it hands you a seed. There are 900 of them across Hyrule, and this guide has the map position of every one, a route for each of the 15 regions, a checkbox to track your progress and a guide to every puzzle type.

How to collect Korok Seeds

  1. Pick a region below and start at the tower or landmark it names. Each region page numbers its seeds in an order that never doubles back.
  2. Walk to the first position. Seeds are often hidden in plain sight, so look for rock circles, lone rocks on flat ground, flower trails, trees with odd fruit and anything that does not match its surroundings. The puzzle guide shows what each looks like.
  3. Take your seeds to Hestu to expand your inventory.

Hestu and the Korok Seed rewards

Hestu is the large Korok who takes your seeds. He trades inventory space: each upgrade adds one slot to your weapons, bows or shields (you choose which). The price rises with every upgrade: 1 seed for the first, 2 for the second, 3 for the third, 5 for the fourth, 8 for the fifth, and it keeps climbing from there. Collecting all 900 seeds and handing them in earns Hestu’s Gift.

Korok Forest and the Korok Mask

Korok Forest lies at the heart of the Lost Woods. Reach it through the Lost Woods and the Korok Forest chapter walks you through. The Master Trials DLC adds the Korok Mask, a chest in the Lost Woods that shakes and lights up when Koroks hide nearby, which makes the hunt much easier. It is not part of any armor set and cannot be dyed or upgraded.

Puzzle types at a glance

Every Korok hides behind one of a few dozen tricks. The most common are a lone rock to lift, a ring of rocks missing a stone, a trail of flowers to follow, and a boulder to roll into a hole. The full list with solutions is in the Korok puzzle guide.

Tips

  • Use the Sheikah Sensor+ rune for shrines and towers to mark your starting points, and activate every tower first so you can fast travel to each region.
  • Seeds flagged Air on the region pages appear off the ground. Look at trees, ledges and cliffs rather than the ground.
  • Many seeds sit next to shrines or along roads the walkthrough already uses, so collect them as you go.
  • Carrying a bow, bomb arrows and a few bombs covers almost every puzzle that is not a plain rock.
