Where to find it
The compendium lists the Lanayru Great Spring and the Gerudo Desert. Lizalfos lurk underwater or blend into their surroundings to ambush, and they never sleep, so do not expect to catch one resting.
How to beat it
Spot the ambush
Watch for ripples in water or odd shapes in the terrain near a camp. Hitting a Lizalfos before it springs keeps the fight short.
Lock on
It moves erratically and jumps around. Lock onto it and wait for it to commit to an attack.
Finish it fast
With only 50 health, one or two good strikes end it. Do not waste a durable weapon on it.
