Might Crystals are the blue, cube-shaped crystals you trade for upgrades at Lueburry’s House, beside the prairie ponds in Suthorn. There are 150 in all. Until you first meet Lueburry, the game calls them unusual crystals; they’re the same thing and count toward the same total.
Quick Facts
Total: 150 Might Crystals. Upgrading everything costs 125; Lueburry’s final reward costs the last 25.
From Tri: every dungeon boss pays 5 (7 bosses, 35 crystals) and every other rift you mend pays 2 (15 rifts, 30 crystals). That’s 65, almost half the total, just for playing through the story and closing rifts.
Everywhere else: chests, hidden overworld spots, side quests and minigames supply the other 85. Some chests and rewards hold 2 or 3 at once.
Might Bell: an accessory that rings when a crystal is nearby. It’s the reward for The Great Fairy’s Request; wear it for the clean-up.
What to Spend Them On
Check the machine in Lueburry’s House to enhance your gear. The Sword of Might, Bow of Might and Bombs of Might each go up to Level 3, and your swordfighter energy gauge goes up to Level 4. The bow comes from Gerudo Sanctum and the bombs from Eldin Temple, so their upgrades only appear once you have them.

A glowing statue outside his house that turns Zelda into Swordfighter Form
* The 20-crystal upgrades are locked at first: Lueburry says he “can’t enhance it any further right now” until his “research has progressed”. They open up later in the story; by the time you’ve finished Still Missing at Hyrule Castle they’re available.
Best order: Sword Lv. 2 first (10), then energy Lv. 2 and Lv. 3 (15 more) – together they make Swordfighter Form hit harder and last longer for just 25 crystals. After that, buy the bow and bomb levels as you get those weapons, and the 20-crystal tiers once Lueburry’s research unlocks them.
The last 25: when there’s “nothing more I can enhance,” Lueburry asks for 25 more might crystals to make “something extra special.” He places a glowing blue statue outside his house, “loaded with power from the might crystals”; check it and Zelda turns straight into Swordfighter Form.

Get the Might Bell. At the Great Fairy Shrine on Lake Hylia, the Great Fairy asks if you’re collecting “those, ah, blue things” and starts The Great Fairy’s Request: bring her a pendant made by the Gerudo jeweler in Gerudo Town. Her reward is the Might Bell, an accessory that “rings when it senses a might crystal nearby.” Equip it and sweep each region in the tables above.
Check the map. The map’s collection list counts the Might Crystals you’ve found, so you can see at a glance how many are left. Rifts are the easiest crystals to overlook: every small rift you mend pays 2, so make sure you’ve closed them all.
