Seko’s big brother Disian has spent a whole year building his own glider course, the Eldin Death Road of Pain, and wants to see if you can beat it. It’s a longer, busier version of Glide Path: start on a narrow pillar, ride a Crow down past more steam columns and falling rocks, and land on the flag without touching the ground. The prize is 2 Might Crystals.

How to Start
As soon as Glide Path ends, “Big Brother…” floats over the young Goron. Talk to him: “I told my brother Disian about you, and he wants to meet ya! Wait right there! Lemme go get him!” He returns with Disian, the Goron in the green scarf: “Oh, so you’re the one Seko told me about? I’m his older brother, Disian.” He has been “glider riding about three years” and “spent a whole year making my own course! Think you can glide the Eldin Death Road of Pain?” Choose “Let’s do it!” (“All riiight! A new contestant on the Eldin Death Road of Pain!”). He adds “You gotta stay focused so you don’t wipe out. Don’t get hurt!” and the side quest Glide Path Trailblazer begins.
Walkthrough
Step 1: Preview the Death Road
The scene moves you to the course’s own start: a white start line on top of a narrow rock pillar, with Disian watching from a ledge beside it. The preview shows a long drop over several tiers of sandy ledges, more steam columns than the first course, and the flag on a ledge at the very bottom. The rule is the same: “You gotta glide all the way from here to the flag without touching the ground. Or else you’ll have to start over! Ready? GO!”
Step 2: Ride the Crow down the course
Summon a Crow on the pillar, grab it and let it carry you off the edge. On the way down, steam rises in thick white columns from rocks on every tier, dark boulders tumble past, and bursts of debris fly around the lower ledges, so keep a line between the hazards rather than flying straight. Hold on through the whole descent: touching any ledge on the way down means starting over.
Step 3: Drop onto the flag
The flag sits on a small ledge at the foot of the last cliff, lit by a beam of light. Let go only when you’re right over it. Disian is waiting there and can hardly believe it: “You… You glided the entire Eldin Death Road of Pain?!” “But…I spent a whole year making it.” Then: “You’re incredible! Outta this world!”
Reward
“The world moves fast. Always gotta move a little faster…” Disian says, “But I’ll give you this, for conquering the Eldin Death Road of Pain.” “You got 2 might crystals! You can use them for enhancements at Lueburry’s home.” As “a veteran of the sport,” he warns that “glider rides can be real dangerous,” but “if you’re a thrill seeker like me, you’re welcome to come use the course anytime.” The Side Quest Complete banner appears back on the clifftop. Tips
- Use the same Crow you used for Glide Path; the two quests are played back to back on one visit.
- Below the clifftop, the sandy sea cliffs hold one of Stamp Guy’s stands and a Might Crystal lying on a ledge, both easy to reach with the Crow while you’re here (see Stamps).
