Follow the trail down the road, clear the rift Stilled Southern Hyrule Field to save her, and the King gives you back your royal dress.

How to Start
Walk out of Hyrule Castle into Castle Town. On the steps below the entrance, Romi and her black dog run up to you (“So cooool!”). She shows off a clover, her “very own Romi discovery,” and explains that you’ll be happy forever if you’ve got one. Her papa loved his, so “I think you should give one of these to your papa too!” “You got a happy clover!” The item text tells you to take it to the King of Hyrule.

Walkthrough
Step 1: Give the clover to the King
Go back into the castle and up to the Throne Room. The King is delighted with “a clover that brings happiness” and wants to thank Romi. Then a soldier bursts in: “A young child from town—little Romi—has run away! Slipped out into the field!” She bolted out of the southern gate. The King orders the soldiers to gather there for a search party and asks you to help, adding that the guards at the gate can tell you more.

Step 2: Ask the guards at the south gate
Leave Castle Town by its southern gate. The guard by the brazier says the child “was seen running along the road past the gate. We think she was chasing a dog,” and that soldiers are combing the road. The banner reads From the Heart: Quest Updated. Head down the road into Hyrule Field. The first soldier you meet has found “no sign of the child OR the dog around here,” so keep going south.

Step 3: Follow the road to the new rift
Further along, a soldier thanks you and says he’ll search toward the Suthorn Prairie. Keep following the dirt path south until another soldier stops you: “Princess! Terrible news, I’m afraid. A new rift has sprung up just ahead!” Next to him, Romi’s dog sits at the rift’s edge. “This dog won’t move an inch. It just refuses to leave!”

Step 4: Enter the rift
Walk up to the rift and Tri says “Stand back, Zelda” and opens the way in. You arrive in Stilled Southern Hyrule Field. Tri senses that its friends are “trapped in 3 areas,” so you’ll need to free all three to fix the rift. Then Tri spots someone on the floating islands: “That’s the girl who went missing, isn’t it? Romi?”

Step 5: Free Tri’s three friends
The rift is a chain of floating islands. Near the start, stand on a Cloud echo to float across the gap beside a stone wall where lines of fiery creatures crawl. On the larger islands you’ll fight armored spear-carrying knights and Peahats. Summoning a Darknut and switching to Swordfighter Form both work well. Swim through the water blocks that link the islands, watching out for the spear-throwing enemies inside them. Each friend you free fills one of the three dots in the top-right corner.

Step 6: Seal the rift
The third friend is guarded on a grassy ledge at the edge of a water block. Once it’s free, Tri says “We’ve found all of my friends in this area. Now we can mend this rift.” A ring of golden orbs closes the rift. Tri’s friends share their power, and you collect 2 Might Crystals.

Step 7: Find Romi in the field
Back in Hyrule Field, the soldier calls it a miracle: “The rift is gone, and the child is saved!” Romi has no idea she was ever in danger. “I played lots and lots! Now I’m huuungry!” The soldier asks you to escort her to the castle, and the scene moves straight to the Throne Room.

Reward
Romi’s papa thanks you for bringing back his “dear daughter,” and the King tells Romi never to go beyond the gates alone. He thanks her for the clover, then speaks to Zelda about how she’s grown up: “Here. I would like you to have this dress back.” “You got some customary attire!” It’s the elegant pink dress you left with Impa when you fled the castle. The banner reads Side Quest Complete: From the Heart. See Outfits for every outfit.

Tips
- You can change into the Customary Attire from the Clothing menu as soon as the quest ends.
- The Happy Clover is a quest item. It’s only used to start the search.
- Sealing the rift counts toward your Might Crystals (2 for this rift), which you can spend on sword, bow, bomb and energy upgrades.
