A Song of Storms

Kass sings a verse by Calora Lake that points to a heap of rocks shaped like a small shrine. Storms rage here constantly, so the answer is to let lightning hit that heap: leave a metal weapon or shield on top, or stand there in the Thunder Helm, then glide away before the bolt lands.

Starting the quest

Speak to Kass

Kass plays by the shore of Calora Lake (map position near x 2020, z 3216). Talk to him and listen to the verse; it speaks of lightning and a mound on high.

Calling the lightning

Find the rock pile

Look for the heap of rocks near the lake that is shaped like a shrine. Climb onto it.

Attract the bolt

Drop a metal weapon or shield on top of the rocks, or wear the Thunder Helm and stand there. The storm targets metal, so the equipment draws a strike.

Get clear

Paraglide off the pile and wait nearby. When lightning hits the mound, the rocks break apart and Qukah Nata Shrine (map position x 2008, z 3285, height 314) rises.

Chests and rewards

  • Rubber Tights from the chest inside the shrine.
  • A Spirit Orb for the shrine’s blessing.
