How to find it
Leave Kakariko Village to the north and follow the path up toward the Great Fairy Fountain. The shrine sits in a clearing along the way. Two chests nearby hold an Eightfold Blade and a Shield of the Mind’s Eye if you are short on gear.
Solution
Side hop
Stand near the Guardian Scout and, as it strikes, move left or right and press jump. A correct dodge slows time and lets you start a flurry rush.
Backflip
Do the same, but hold back while jumping as an attack is about to land, which grants another flurry rush.
Perfect guard
Raise your shield just before the blow lands to parry it. The enemy is stunned and often disarmed.
Charged attack
Hold the attack button until your weapon is fully charged, then release a big spin. This finishes the Guardian Scout.
Claim the reward
In the final room open the chest for the Opal and speak to the monk Ta’loh Naeg for the Spirit Orb.
