How to find it
Gerudo Town is in the far south-west desert. You need to get into the town, wearing a Gerudo disguise, and speak to the chief, Riju, to start the Divine Beast Vah Naboris quest.
Solution
Meet the chief
Once you are inside the town, speak to Riju, who explains that the Yiga Clan stole the Thunder Helm, and then to the captain of the guard, who tells you the Yiga have a hideout in Karusa Valley.
Recover the Thunder Helm
Make your way to the Yiga Clan hideout in Karusa Valley, defeat the boss and take the Thunder Helm from the chest that appears. Return to Gerudo Town and go up to Riju’s room on the second floor.
Hand it over
Giving the helm to Riju and seeing her put it on triggers the memory of Link’s time with the Gerudo champion, Urbosa. When it ends the memory is added to your collection.
If you get stuck
- No cutscene plays: the memory is tied to returning the Thunder Helm to Riju, so complete that handover before looking for it elsewhere.
