Riju

Riju is the young chief of the Gerudo and holds court in the big building at the end of Gerudo Town. You need a Gerudo disguise to enter the town and meet her. She sends you after the stolen Thunder Helm, then joins you for the assault on Vah Naboris.

Who she is

Riju leads the Gerudo after Urbosa. Buliara watches over her, and the Sand Seal Patricia is her mount. The Thunder Helm, a Gerudo treasure that protects against lightning, is what makes it possible to approach Vah Naboris.

Where to find her

Men are not allowed into Gerudo Town. Speak to Vilia on the roof above the inn at Kara Kara Bazaar, buy the Gerudo outfit (Gerudo Veil, Gerudo Top and Gerudo Sirwal) and put it on before you enter. Riju is in the large building at the end of town; Buliara directs you to the second floor to speak with her.

Quests and rewards

  • Divine Beast Vah Naboris: Riju tells you the Yiga Clan stole the Thunder Helm. Recover it from their hideout in Karusa Valley and bring it back; her wearing it triggers Memory 6. She then meets you at the South Outpost for the assault.
  • After you free the beast, she gives you the Daybreaker and the Scimitar of the Seven.
  • The Thunder Helm side quest: finish the five other side quests in Gerudo Town, then return to Riju to keep the helm.

Shop and services

Riju sells nothing. Gerudo Town has a jewelry shop, an inn, armor and general shops, and Sand Seal rentals.
