The Warm Doublet is a thick pullover that gives you Cold Resistance for 1 defence. The Old Man hands it over on the Great Plateau if you cook him a dish with Hyrule Bass, and it can be bought later in Hateno Village for 80 Rupees.

How to get the Warm Doublet
From the Old Man
Read the Old Man‘s diary in his hut on the Great Plateau. It shows that he has forgotten the recipe for a dish made with meat, spicy peppers and one more ingredient. Cook that dish with Hyrule Bass and show it to him.
He gives you the Warm Doublet as thanks. If you reach the top of Mount Hylia before doing this, he appears there and gives you the doublet instead.
If you finished the Great Plateau without it, look inside the Old Man’s hut: he leaves the doublet behind for you.
From the Hateno Village shop
The Hateno Village armor shop sells it for 80 Rupees, which is the quick option if you skipped the Old Man.
What it does
- Cold Resistance protects you from freezing in snowy and high-altitude areas, at one level of protection.
- It is a single piece, so there is no set bonus, and it cannot be upgraded at a Great Fairy fountain.
