How to find it
Kass‘s poem ends with the line to throw the orb underground. Speak to Riju and Buliara in Gerudo Town, who tell you the sacred orb was stolen by the Yiga Clan. Go to the arena near the Gerudo Tower where Master Kohga fell into the giant pit, and find the twins Mina and Mils, who have opened the way into the hideout. The orb is in a second-floor storage room. Several Yiga Blademasters patrol the hideout, so sneak along the right side, climb the ladder, cross the rooftops to the doorway, and take the orb. On the way back leave through a window and slip past the guards. Throw the orb into the pit to reveal the shrine.
Solution
Count the coloured orbs
Use the apparatus to look into the box and shake it. The box holds 4 blue orbs, 1 red orb, 2 yellow orbs and 2 green orbs. Each coloured slot is matched by the number of torches beside it.
Fill the slots
Place that many orbs of each colour into the matching slots. The gate to the monk opens.
Bonus chest
Some orbs in the box do not glow. To the right of the monk there is a slot for the number of colourless orbs, which is 3. Use Magnesis on the bottom of the box to push the cover out so the metal orbs fall to the floor, then carry one into the slot. A chest with a Thunderspear appears.
Speak to the monk
Talk to the monk for the final emblem of the quest. The next challenge is the Divine Beast itself.
