This stretch is a shopping stop between Level 6 and Level 7. Leave the Level 6 graveyard, buy a Red Potion from the medicine woman, then buy Monster Bait from the hidden shop under an Armos statue. You will need that bait later for the hungry Goriya in Level 7, so carry it from here.

Leave Level 6 through the graveyard
Walk out of the graveyard cave
When you leave Level 6, the exit leads into a graveyard with white headstones on a grey floor. You arrive at the black cave in the top centre of the graveyard. Walk down between the headstones to the stairway at the bottom edge and go down it to come back onto the overworld. The sand fields past it hold enemies that are easy to cut down with the sword you already carry.
Check the start menu
Open the start menu once you are outside. The subscreen shows your inventory and a Triforce triangle. That triangle is only a display, so nothing is added to your Triforce here. Close the menu and keep walking.
The medicine woman and the Red Potion
Find the cave in the tree-lined field
Walk on through the sand field with green trees along its top edge. A black cave entrance sits at the top middle of the field, between the trees. Walk into the cave to reach the medicine woman’s shop. She only sells potions after you have shown her the Letter, so the Letter must already be in your inventory.
Buy the Red Potion
The shop sign says to buy your medicine before you go. Two potions sit on the shelf: the blue potion costs 40 rupees and the red potion costs 68 rupees. Stand in front of the red potion and buy it. Your rupee count drops from 191 to 123.
After the purchase, Link holds the red potion over his head while still inside the shop, then walks out. Keep it in your inventory for the rooms ahead, since Level 7 has many rooms full of enemies.
The hidden ring shop under the Armos
Find the stairs under the middle Armos
Walk to the field with six Armos statues arranged in two rows of three. The stairs to the hidden shop are under the middle statue of the top row. Move or wake that statue to reveal the staircase, then walk down into the shop.
Buy the Monster Bait
This is the same shop you used before Level 1, and its shelf is full again when you walk in. The sign reads that the prices are really expensive. The shelf holds a Key for 80 rupees, the Blue Ring for 250 rupees, and Monster Bait for 60 rupees. Your rupee count is 128 at this point, so buy the Monster Bait on the right, which takes you down to 68 rupees.
Leave the Key on the shelf. You already bought the Blue Ring here earlier, so there is no need to buy it again, and at 128 rupees you could not afford a second one anyway. Walk out of the shop and back into the field.
Walk to the lake before Level 7
Reach the purple lake
From the ring shop, walk across the sand toward the purple lake with four round boulders around its edges. The Level 7 entrance is hidden in this lake and can only be revealed with the Recorder, so keep the Recorder ready.
Open the inventory before you cross the lake. The red potion you bought and the meat-shaped Monster Bait both appear in the item grid. Check that the bait is there before you go on, since the hungry Goriya in Level 7 will not let you pass without it.
