Ukoojisi Shrine is sealed until you bring it a crystal. Find the crystal on the neighbouring island, mount it on a Zonai flyer built from fans and fly it to the shrine island.
Walkthrough
Land on the shrine island
Launch from the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower and glide east into the West Necluda Sky Archipelago. The shrine island is a cross-shaped platform. Examine the shrine’s runes (or the mysterious crystal on the northernmost island) to start the quest; a Mysterious Voice explains that bringing the crystal to the shrine earns a Light of Blessing. Some guides reach the area from the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower instead.
Find the crystal
The green ray from the shrine points to a nearby island with a vine-covered cave opening (a lever and piston on the central island launch you toward the runway island). Cut or burn the vines, go deeper, and clear a second set of vines to reach the crystal.
Build a flyer
Zonai devices in the cave let you build the carrier: a flying machine from a Zonai wing, two fans, a steering stick and a battery (some players use a Fanplane with a rocket and batteries). Mount the crystal at the front middle for balance.
Fly to the shrine island
Board the flyer and take off from the island’s edge, steering back toward the shrine. Hold the crystal’s weight centred so it does not tip.
Offer the crystal
On the shrine island, lift the crystal off the vehicle and carry it along the green beam to the glowing pad. It floats above the shrine and opens the entrance.
Collect the chest and Light of Blessing
Inside there is no puzzle. Open the chest for a Zonaite Shield (Zonaite Shield, or the Strong or Mighty Zonaite Shield later in the game), climb the stairs and examine the green runes for the Light of Blessing.
Rewards
Ukoojisi Shrine with its Light of Blessing, plus a Zonaite Shield (Strong or Mighty Zonaite Shield, depending on your progress).
Tips
- The Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower also puts you near the archipelago.
- A Korok seed sits on the islands near the crystal.
