|---|---|
| How they appear | Each one is created by a Kinstone fusion (they are never in the world beforehand) |
| Reward | Usually 100 rupees when you defeat one (one Tektite gives 200, according to one guide) |
| Figurines | The first of each kind adds Golden Octorok (111), Golden Tektite (112) and Golden Rope (113) to Carlov’s machine |
| Needed | Kinstone pieces, a sword, and for some the Ocarina of Wind, the Flippers or the Royal Crypt finished |
The Minish Cap has nine golden enemies, three each of Octorok, Tektite and Rope, and every one of them is spawned by a Kinstone fusion. Fuse with the people below, then go to the place named and defeat the golden enemy for a rupee reward. You only need to make one of each kind appear to get its figurine, but all nine are worth a fusion if you are going for 100 percent of the Kinstone fusions.

Written guides disagree about exactly who triggers some of these fusions, especially the early ones where several villagers can hold the matching half. The partners above are the ones that most sources agree on; if a villager does not respond, try another person in the same area, because many fusion partners hand their fusion to someone else later in the game.
Golden Octoroks
Librari, Wind Ruins
After you have the Ocarina of Wind, go into the Library in Hyrule Town and find Librari, the Minish elder in the bookshelf. Fuse a green piece with him. A Golden Octorok appears in the Wind Ruins; kill it for about 100 rupees. Do this before you restore the Four Sword, because the library shuts afterwards. Librari can still be fused with later at Lake Hylia.

Business Scrub, Western Wood
In the Minish Woods an earlier fusion opens a tree in which a Business Scrub is hiding. Once you have the Ocarina of Wind, fuse a green piece with that Business Scrub. A Golden Octorok then appears in the Western Wood.

Early fusion, north Minish Woods
One of the first fusions you can make, once Deepwood Shrine is done, summons a Golden Octorok to the northern part of the Minish Woods, an area you cannot enter until later. Return once that area is open and defeat it for about 100 rupees.

Golden Tektites
Melari’s Mines Minish, south of Mt. Crenel
Fuse a green piece with the Minish in the southeast room of Melari’s Mines. A Golden Tektite appears south of Mt. Crenel and pays 100 rupees.

Tingle, Mt. Crenel
With the Ocarina of Wind in hand, find Tingle in the east of South Hyrule Field and fuse a red piece with him. A Golden Tektite appears on Mt. Crenel and is worth 200 rupees according to one guide.

Hailey, Veil Falls
After the Royal Crypt, go to the Cloud Tops and fuse a green piece with Hailey, the first person you meet there. A Golden Tektite appears at Veil Falls and is worth 100 rupees (one guide lists 50). A second Hailey fusion on the fourth floor of the Wind Tribe’s Tower is listed by some guides for another Golden Tektite.

Golden Ropes
Early fusion, Hyrule Castle Garden
Another early fusion sends a Golden Rope to the garden around Hyrule Castle. Kill it for about 100 rupees.

Early fusion, Eastern Hills
A second early fusion sends a Golden Rope to the Eastern Hills, east of Hyrule Town.

Flurris, Castor Wilds
After finishing the Royal Crypt, fuse a green piece with Flurris in the house in the Cloud Tops. A Golden Rope appears in the Castor Wilds. One guide also lists a Golden Rope from Flurris on the third floor of the Wind Tribe’s Tower.

Tips
- Golden enemies act like their ordinary versions, so a few sword hits is all it takes.
- Always set aside the right Kinstone piece first; the colour and shape must match the partner’s half.
- Keep these in mind for the figurine grind: figurines 111, 112 and 113 are the three golden enemy figurines.
