Chaas Qeta Shrine (A Major Test of Strength)

Chaas Qeta is a combat shrine against a Guardian Scout IV with 3,000 health, armed with a spear, an axe and a sword. Dodge its melee swings, use the updraft against its spinning laser and finish it before its double shot.

How to find it

Tenoko Island lies off the south-east coast of Hateno. Jump from the nearby cliff and glide across to the island.

Solution

Hold your ground against the melee

Keep moving and strike when it finishes a swing. Dodge to the side for flurry rushes.

Use the updraft

About halfway through, the Scout crouches and spins a laser. Back off, ride the updraft over it with the paraglider and hit it from above.

Finish before the double shot

At low health it charges a laser that fires twice in a row. Rush in and kill it first, or keep running and dodge both shots.

Take the Climbing Gear

Open the chest in the following room for the Climbing Gear, then speak to the monk for the Spirit Orb.
