Who he is
Sidon is cheerful and openly believes in Link. Muzu, an elder of the Zora, distrusts Hylians, and Sidon backs you against him. When you wear the Zora Armor, Sidon points out that it fits you perfectly and Muzu relents.
Where to find him
Sidon first appears as you approach a bridge on the road toward Zora’s Domain, and he shows up again several times as you climb, including at Oren Bridge. In Zora’s Domain he is in the plaza below the throne room, and during the Vah Ruta quest he waits for you by the Divine Beast once you have 20 Shock Arrows.
Quests and rewards
Reach Zora’s Domain
Follow the road along the river toward the Domain. Sidon encourages you at each bridge and hands over an Electro Elixir because the Lizalfos and Keese along the route use electricity.
Divine Beast Vah Ruta
After the king briefs you, Sidon’s plan is to take Shock Arrows from the Lynel on Ploymus Mountain. Collect 20 of them and meet him at the reservoir.
Climb onto Sidon’s back. He swims circuits around Vah Ruta; destroy the ice blocks it sends at you, then shoot a Shock Arrow at one of the four orbs when he brings you beside a waterfall.
- Sidon stays outside when you enter the beast.
- King Dorephan, not Sidon, rewards you with the Lightscale Trident in a chest after the quest.
