Walkthrough

Talk to the musicians at Woodland Stable

Go to the stage in front of Woodland Stable, where Penn is talking with the Stable Trotters, Mastro and Violynne. Listen to their story: the Great Fairy has shut herself inside her flower bud, which sits on the hillside just up the road, and the troupe’s wagon is broken, so they cannot reach her. Agree to take them there. Penn only turns up at stables once you have started the Potential Princess Sightings side adventure; if he is not here, speak to him outside the Lucky Clover Gazette in Hebra first.

Repair the wagon

The troupe’s wagon has lost its wheels. A shed beside it holds spare wheels, so use Ultrahand to pick them up and attach them to the wagon where the broken ones were. Keep the wagon facing forward so it can be pulled.

Get a horse and the Towing Harness

Catch any horse and register it at the Woodland Stable. Speak to the stable attendant and change the horse’s saddle to the Towing Harness, which is the saddle that lets a horse pull wagons. You need a tame horse before you can do this. The Towing Harness is a Pony Point reward and costs three: you earn a Pony Point the first time you speak to the receptionist at each stable, and once you have three you open the book in any stable and choose to receive the reward.

Hitch the wagon to the horse

Stand next to the wagon with the horse wearing the harness, then use Ultrahand to fasten the wagon’s hitch to the horse’s harness. Once it is attached, talk to Mastro and tell the troupe you will take them to the Great Fairy.

Drive the band to the Great Fairy

Mount the horse and follow the road north toward the giant plant that is puffing out purple dust. Take it slowly: if the ride is too bumpy the troupe will complain, so avoid hitting rocks at speed and keep to the track.

Let the troupe play

When you arrive at the flower bud, the musicians climb onto the petals and begin to play. The bud opens and Great Fairy Tera appears. Talk to her and, after the troupe’s thanks, you can use her to enhance your armor.

Rewards

  • Great Fairy Tera’s armor upgrades become available.
  • 50 rupees (a Purple Rupee) and Lucky Clover Gazette Fabric, as listed by PowerPyx.
  • Tera upgrades armor from now on and marks the locations of the other three Great Fairies on your map.

Tips

  • Bring the materials for the armor you want to upgrade, because Tera can enhance gear as soon as she appears.
  • Do this quest before Serenade to Mija: it is the first of the Stable Trotters’ fairy quests, and it is part of the Potential Princess Sightings chain that continues with For Our Princess!
  • If the ride is too rickety Mastro complains and you are sent back to the stable, so drive slowly.
