| Requirement | Clear The Future of Hyrule, then hand in 50 Terrako Components |

| Reward | Repair Terrako: a closing cutscene, an alternate ending and Terrako as a playable warrior |
| Where | Hyrule map, plus post-game quests and challenges |
The secret ending is unlocked by the quest Terrako’s Return, which opens once you clear The Future of Hyrule and asks for 50 Terrako Components. The components come from post-game quests and challenges, 28 from eight quests and 22 from seven challenges, so doing all of them gets you there with exactly the right number. Handing them in repairs Terrako, plays the ending scene and makes Terrako a playable character.

What the secret ending gives you
Terrako’s Return
When you finish the quest, Purah and Robbie repair the broken Terrako and a short film plays, followed by an alternate set of credits told from Terrako’s point of view. It is more of an epilogue than a twist, so it is safe to leave until you have the rest of the post-game done. Terrako also joins your roster as the secret playable character, one of the four secret warriors counted for the 100% completion checklist.

Before you start
Requirements
Everything below appears after you clear The Future of Hyrule, the last story battle. Most of the quests ask for materials, so farm a few rounds of battles for Trophies, fish, shrooms and Ancient parts before you begin. The Sheikah Sensor can be set to look for Terrako Components, so you can track the components you still need.

Terrako Components from quests
Eight quests pay out components, and all are available as soon as the story is done, except Right under Our Noses, which appears after you finish No Extreme Too Extreme. They give 28 components in all. Each one is turned in on the Hyrule map.

| Quest | Region | What you hand in | Components |

The Eye That Sees Far and Let’s Dance
These two ask for Korok Seeds, 1 and 3, so keep a few in reserve and do not spend all of them on weapon capacity first. Get them from the Koroks listed on the Korok Seed Locations page. Let’s Dance also wants 250 Lizalfos Trophies, which you collect passively by defeating Lizalfos in any battle.

Gathering the Facts, No Extreme Too Extreme and Searching Eventide Island
Each of these pays 5 components, the highest of any quest, and each wants large stacks of food or materials. Cook or buy what you can, and repeat easy foraging battles such as Hyrule Field for the fish and shrooms. Right under Our Noses is the last one to open, so start No Extreme Too Extreme early.

Terrako Components from challenges
Seven challenges give components as a first-clear reward. Their recommended levels sit in the high 50s and around 60, so they are a good use for your most levelled warriors and also give Ethereal Stones. They give 22 components.

| Challenge | Rec. Lv | Warrior(s) | Goal | Components |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Invading Terrors | 57 | Defeat the Guardian and key enemies | 2 | |
| The Master Kohga Chronicles! | 57 | Master Kohga, Impa | Capture all outposts | 3 |
| Rampaging Malice | 58 | Capture all outposts | 5 | |
| Hunting Partners | 58 | Revali, Hestu | Defeat the Bokoblin | 1 |
| Shadow of Ganon | 60 | Link, Urbosa | Defeat the Malice Guardian and key enemies | 3 |
| Guardian Graveyard | 60 | Defeat the Guardian and key enemies | 3 | |
| A Royal Investigation | 61 | Capture the outposts, then defeat the Malice Lynels | 5 | |
| Total | 22 |
A Royal Investigation
This is the biggest challenge reward at 5 components, and it is a Zelda-only fight against Fire, Ice and Electric Lynels with Silver Bokoblins. Capture the outposts first, then defeat the Malice Lynels to finish.

Rampaging Malice
Daruk faces Malice Guardians, Fire Guardians, Fire-Breath Lizalfos and Fire Keese. Capture every outpost to earn the 5 components.

Hunting Partners
Revali and Hestu fight Bokoblin, Silver Lizalfos and Black Moblins. It pays only 1 component, but also 5 Korok Seeds and a Korok to find, and you need those seeds for The Eye That Sees Far and Let’s Dance.

Turning in the 50 components
Hand in Terrako’s Return
Open the Hyrule map, select Terrako’s Return in Central Hyrule, and hand in all 50 Terrako Components. Because quests and challenges add up to exactly 50, you cannot skip any of them. If you are short, check the quest list for the one you have left out, and check that Right under Our Noses has opened. See Challenges and Quests for the full lists.
