To finish Tri Force Heroes completely you clear all 32 Levels, complete all 96 Drablands Challenges, own all 38 outfits, collect all 70 Materials, beat the Den of Trials once and wear the Lady’s Ensemble to lift the curse. The game keeps no single percentage figure, so this page lists each part, in a sensible order, with the totals to check against.

Check the table to see what each part of the collection is worth. The following sections explain how to reach every number.

The Main Game

Clear all 32 Levels

Each of the eight Areas has four Levels, and the fourth is the temple or boss Level. The Areas are Woodlands (Deku Forest, Buzz Blob Cave, Moblin Base, Forest Temple), Riverside (Secret Fortress, Abyss of Agony, Cove of Transition, Water Temple), Volcano (Blazing Trail, Hinox Mine, Den of Flames, Fire Temple), Ice Cavern (Frozen Plateau, Snowball Ravine, Silver Shrine, Ice Temple), Fortress (Sealed Gateway, Bomb Storage, Training Ground, The Lady’s Lair), The Dunes (Infinity Dunes, Stone Corridors, Gibdo Mausoleum, Desert Temple), The Ruins (Illusory Mansion, Palace Noir, Lone Labyrinth, Grim Temple) and Sky Realm (Floating Garden, Deception Castle, Dragon Citadel, Sky Temple).

Start in the Woodlands. Beating its boss opens Riverside, Volcano and Ice Cavern, then the Fortress, then The Dunes and The Ruins, and finally the Sky Realm. Inside an Area the four Levels can be played in any order. A Level where you skipped a Stage with a Fairy does not count on the list, so clear every Stage properly.

Defeat every boss

Each Area ends with a boss: Margoma, Arrghus, Moldorm, Blizzagia, The Lady’s Pets, Stalchampion, Prismantus and, in the Sky Temple, Lady Maud. Their fights are covered on Boss Strategies.

Complete all 96 Drablands Challenges

Once an Area’s boss is down, each of its Levels can be replayed with three challenges, so every Area has 12 and the game has 96. They include time limits, fewer Heart Containers, halved attack and defense, playing without a sword and more. The Completion List on the bulletin board in the lobby gives one marker to every Level and every challenge, 128 on a board. A second board is kept for play with Doppels. Details are on Drablands Challenges.

Collect King Tuft’s rewards

Finish all 12 challenges in an Area and King Tuft gives you its exclusive gold Material: Supple Leaf, Thornberry, Divine Whiskers, Beastie Patch, Brittle Papyrus, Golden Insect, Gold Dust and Fabled Butterfly. Complete all 128 entries and he gives you a Gold Rupee as the final reward.

Collections

Own all 38 outfits

You wear Bear Minimum from the start, receive Cursed Tights from King Tuft after the curse is lifted and win the Fierce Deity Armor in the Den of Trials, which leaves 35 outfits to order at Madame Couture’s. Seven of those are available immediately: Big Bomb Outfit, Hero’s Tunic, Kokiri Clothes, Legendary Dress, Lucky Loungewear, Timeless Tunic and Tri Suit. The rest unlock as you clear Areas. The full recipes are on Outfits.

The outfits with special requirements

Six outfits are tied to something other than an Area. The Cheer Outfit becomes available once the Street Merchant arrives, which happens after you have completed three Levels or challenges, and it needs 3 Frilly Fabric. The Dapper Spinner is ordered after you lose at Daily Riches five times. Linebeck’s Uniform arrives with the Den of Trials. The Timeless Tunic and the Tri Suit need Friendly Tokens, 3 and 5. And the Lady’s Ensemble needs all three Lady’s Materials.

Collect all 70 Materials

There are 64 Area Materials, eight per Area: three Bronze, three Silver and two Gold. Six more are special: the three Lady’s Materials, Frilly Fabric, Friendly Token and Freebie. Level chests give most Materials, the exclusive golds come from King Tuft, and the Street Merchant can fill the gaps. See Materials for where each one comes from.

Find the three Lady’s Materials

The Lady’s Glasses are in the Forest Temple chest, the Lady’s Collar is in The Lady’s Lair chest and the Lady’s Parasol is in the Sky Temple chest, each on your first clear. They only appear on that first clear, so make sure you collect all three.

Get 8 Friendly Tokens

The Timeless Tunic and the Tri Suit together need 8 Friendly Tokens. The Faux Hero gives one each time you connect with a new friend over local wireless or Download Play, up to 15, and after the curse is lifted the Street Merchant sells them.

Story and Post-Game

Lift the curse

Make the Lady’s Ensemble at Madame Couture’s with the three Lady’s Materials and walk into Hytopia Castle wearing it. This starts the ending and frees Princess Styla. After the ceremony, King Tuft sends you the Cursed Tights.

Beat the Den of Trials

After you have completed nine Levels or challenges and returned to Hytopia, the Den of Trials opens. It has 40 floors in eight Zones of five, each based on one of the Areas. Reaching the bottom for the first time earns the Fierce Deity Armor. Read Den of Trials before you start.
