Misko’s Treasure of Awakening I

Misko’s first riddle is found in Goronbi River Cave and points to the ruined Ancient Columns on the Tabantha Frontier. Climb the thickest pillar, step on its pressure plate to open a hole in the ground, glide in and open the chest in Ancient Columns Cave for the Tunic of Awakening.

Walkthrough

Cross the lava in Goronbi River Cave

Enter Goronbi River Cave on the south bank of the Golow River near Goron City, wearing fire protection. Follow the lava flow, riding the floating platforms (Recall helps), defeat the Fire Lizalfos on the far shore and carry on to the treasure chest at the back; opening it unlocks the door to the stone monument room.

Open the chest, go through the door it unlocks and read the stone tablet in the monument room. Misko says he found the Tunic of Awakening in a strange land and hid it away, and points you to the ruined pillars on the Tabantha Frontier where Rayne, Piper and Tanagar meet.

Climb the thick pillar at the Ancient Columns

Travel to the Ancient Columns on the Tabantha Frontier, south of Rito Village. A Flame Gleeok patrols the ruins, so keep your distance. Climb the tall pillar (the big one with a button on top) and stand on the pressure plate. A hatch opens in the ground nearby. Flying in from Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower works well, and bring stamina food for the climb.

Drop into Ancient Columns Cave and open the chest

Glide down into the square pit, follow the cave and open the ornate shrine-shaped chest at the end for the Tunic of Awakening. The Tunic is an armor piece of the Awakening set, and the next letter lies on a tablet next to it.
