Walkthrough
Talk to Toffa
Speak to Toffa, the horse guard on the north side of Outskirt Stable. He has heard of skeletal horses that appear at night in the Sanidin Park Ruins, north of the stable, near the horse statue.

Ride a Stalhorse to the stable
Wait until night and go to the Sanidin Park Ruins. Calm a Skeleton Stalhorse, mount it and ride it straight to Toffa at the stable. Approach from behind and calm it. Skeleton Stalhorses crumble at about 5 am, so get there before morning. Toffa is amazed and rewards you with a Purple Rupee (50 rupees) and a Pony Point.

Show him a wild animal
Toffa now wants to see a tamed creature that is not a horse. Sneak up on a deer in the woods (a small copse north-east of the stable and the forests to the north-west are common spots), mount it and calm it straight away so it does not throw you, and ride it back to him. Do not dismount, or it will run off. Deer do not spawn at a fixed spot and are scarcer in rain, so save before you try.

Rewards
- A Purple Rupee (50 rupees) and a Pony Point for the Stalhorse.
- A Silver Rupee (100 rupees) and a Pony Point for the wild animal.
