Dow Na’eh Shrine (Three Boxes)

Dow Na’eh uses Magnesis. Pull three metal chests onto the giant floor button in the middle of the room, keeping the Opal, Zora Sword and Amber they hold, then carry the metal block that the opened gate reveals up on the rising platform to reach the monk.

How to find it

Go to the waterfall at Lanayru Promenade. A tunnel on the right-hand side leads behind the falls to the shrine entrance.

Solution

Opal

Pull the first chest from the water

The first chest lies in the water near the floor button. Lift it out with Magnesis and open it for an Opal.

Cut down the second chest

The next chest hangs above and to the left of the button. Cut its ropes with an arrow or a boomerang so it drops into the water, then pull it out with Magnesis and open it to find a Zora Sword.

Amber

Catch the third chest

Hop across to the nearby pathway. The final chest sits on a platform that rises and falls. Open it for an Amber.

Load the button

Use Magnesis to set all three chests on the floor button. A gate slides up and reveals a large metal block.

Ride the block up

Move the block onto the rising platform, ride up and step onto the nearby ledge. When the platform lowers, jump onto the block and reach the path to the monk Dow Na’eh for the Spirit Orb.

Chests and rewards

  • Opal Opal: in the chest lying in the water by the button.
  • Zora Sword Zora Sword: in the chest hanging from ropes above and left of the button.
